Beautiful, semi-rustic, quiet, vacation home has some history as one of the first homes built. It is a stand alone building that has been fully updated and is now incorporated as a part of a home owner's association. The HOA not only maintains the exterior but also provides wonderful amenities including an indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, fitness center, private tennis court, and coin operated laundry. The indoor hot tub and fitness center are just steps away in the building next door.
In our 3 Bedroom/ 2 bathroom place (plus a loft), there are 3 queen beds, 2 twin beds (trundle), and a queen pullout couch to sleep up to 10 people. We also have an additional twin air mattress and pac-n-play crib available to help accommodate a large group. Except for the loft, our place is all one level including the entrance, making it handicap & wheelchair accessible. Having no stairs to climb is especially nice after a long day of skiing! There is a fully equipped kitchen along with a gas fireplace and grill. Plus two TVs with Cable and DVD/VCR to complete the home.
Our home is located just a short (less than 1 mile) walk from downtown Winter Park in friendly Timber Run. Also within walking distance is Wolf Park which is a wonderful park with a large grassy area, covered picnic tables, tennis/basketball/volleyball courts, and a great jungle gym for the kids. At the end of the driveway, the free shuttle will pick you up and take you to town in just minutes for great shopping & dining. This free shuttle will also take you to the base of Winter Park Ski Resort in just 10-15 minutes. You can also easily drive & park at Mary Jane Ski Resort base in under 15 minutes.

- No Pets Allowed: Due to owner's high sensitivities/allergies to pets, this property no longer allows pets...sorry.
- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations): Everything except the loft is wheelchair accessible. Doors are standard size and hallway is narrow. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible as they are small & narrow and only have standard tubs (not walk-ins)
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations): Except for the loft, the entire property is on one level, including the entryway. Doors are wide as well to allow for wheelchairs. Bathrooms are small and narrow so there may be some limitations depending on the size of the wheelchair.
- Kid Friendly: Owners have young kids (under age 6yo) so the property is very kid friendly. New porch railing makes it even safer. Pac-n-play crib is available for people with young kids and babies.

Why the Owner Chose Timber Run
We love to spend time in Winter Park. We especially like our place because it is a stand alone building so we don't have to share walls with anyone. It's very peaceful & quiet. As a bonus, our place is the perfect place as the (free) bus picks us up right at the end of our driveway. This bus will take us to town (less than 1 mile away) or to Winter Park Ski resort (just a 10-15 minute drive). It's perfect! Also, we can ride our mountain bikes out our back door and find some great trails.

We love Winter Park and we purchased this place so that we can spend time together as a family. There are three families who are joint owners (& siblings too!). Each family is a family of four with two young children. This place is perfect for two of the families to enjoy together. We've even managed to squeeze in all three families for an exciting and fun weekend in the mountains!
