Beautiful, semi-rustic, three bedroom plus a loft vacation home sleeps ten in beds (or more with airbed) with plenty of room for kids. Located just a short walk from town in friendly Timber Run, the home has two baths and plenty of amenities: such as access to steam showers, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, fitness center, coin operated laundry and a private tennis court with an unbeatable view. Nearby Wolf Park is within walking distance and has a short Alpine Trail, covered picnic areas, a gazebo, large jungle gym, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts all in excellent condition, as well as a large open grassy area perfect for kids.
Short, two-minute walk to bus line takes you to the Winter Park Resort for skiing and snowboarding in the winter and downhill bike riding, bungee-cord jumping, rock-climbing, Colorado's longest alpine slide, and miniature golf in the summer.
Enjoy a clear view of the mountains from the balcony, the perfect spot for morning coffee, tea, or yoga. Curl up and relax with a good book in the afternoon and your perfect day ends with you enjoying a glass of wine while you grill on the balcony in the evening.
Home has a full kitchen to prepare meals, but it is also within close proximity to downtown Winter Park, with access to shopping, restaurants, bars, ice skating rink, a children’s park, sledding and movie theatre. Front living room has 27" TV with DVD player. Back den has 20" TV and VCR bracketed to the wall so guests can watch movies from the loft area and lower area at the same time.
The house has some history as one of the first homes built in the area with no others for miles around. Fraser River originally ran alongside the house, and was later diverted to run below the train tracks near town. Home has been fully updated, maintaining the original stone fireplace made from river rock and hand-hewn wood beams and walls. Now part of a homeowner’s association, it is surrounded by townhomes and condominiums (built keeping in mind the home's view of the mountains) offering amenities and security.

During the summer, opportunities in the Grand County are endless, hike or bike the 600 miles of terrain, which make Winter Park the “World’s #1 Mountain Biking Capital.” The nearby Fraser River Trail has a paved path perfect for rollerblading, strolling or biking while enjoying nature.
You can choose to go horseback riding, river rafting and/or kayaking down the Colorado River or take in the sunset and beautiful landscape from a hot air balloon. Nearby Granby and Grand and Shadow Mountain Lakes offer fishing, boating, and water sports all in huge lakes with pristine settings, glassy conditions and incredible views. Lastly, come up to take in a game of golf at one of Grand County’s four gorgeous, unbeatable courses or enjoy one of the local wine, sport or music festivals.

- No Pets Allowed: Due to owner's high sensitivities/allergies to pets, this property no longer allows pets...sorry.
- Handicapped Accessible: Everything except the loft is wheelchair accessible. Doors are standard size and hallway is narrow. The bathrooms are not handicap accessible as they are small & narrow and only have standard tubs (not walk-ins)
- Wheelchair Accessible: Except for the loft, the entire property is on one level, including the entryway. Doors are wide as well to allow for wheelchairs. Bathrooms are small and narrow so there may be some limitations depending on the size of the wheelchair.
- Kid Friendly: Owners have young kids (under 5) so the property is very kid friendly. New porch railing makes it even safer. Pac-n-play crib is available for people with young kids and babies.
