Four of us stayed in this accommodation. We liked the owners. We liked the place and the two bedrooms are a good size. The accommodation is more accurately described as a two bedroom (we couldn't envisage room for a fifth person). We did note that for anyone who is a light sleeper the bus stop outside the bedroom windows will be an issue. No issue with cleanliness. We appreciated the bread, milk etc. put in the fridge for our arrival. Given that there are appliances/ equipment there should have been one binder with instructions for operating (we never did figure out how to use the washing machine and we really did not want to disrupt our days trying to set up a time to meet the owner). We are used to the owner providing a binder listing where the local amenities could be found ie. banks, food marts, etc., whether to use the subway and its map and schedule and we would have appreciated recommendations for restaurants and activities in Buenos Aires or at least brochures that could be reviewed. We did appreciate the quick response to our problem with the internet and at that time we were able to ask questions about the local amenities. Lastly, we felt the unit contained left over furniture from someone's home that was merely decorative and of no value to us either for storage or as a working surface and would recommend it be removed to provide more living space in the unit. We left brochures of places we would recommend visiting when in Buenos Aires. If there had been a comment book we would have listed the local restaurants and stores we went to for the benefit of the next persons renting. Bearing in mind our comments we would recommend the accommodation.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Great apartment in the nicest location in the city!!! Very safe neighborhood! The apartment was very nice, clean, well maintained, comfortable. It had two big bedrooms and two bathrooms which was great since we were four people renting the place. The owner was really nice and accommodating. The price of the apartment is great for the apartment you get The pictures are nice in the ad but the apartment is much nicer in person,! We are going back next year hopefully and without question we are staying at this apartment. I would surely recommend this place to families or friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Glad you liked the apartment and enjoyed your stay. Look forward to seeing you on your next visit to BA

We had a wonderful two week experience while staying in this very comfortable, clean and well maintained two bedroom apartment which is in one of the nicest and safest areas in Buenos Aires. The location was ideal! Street cafes, great restaurants, delious bakeries, two grocery stores, an ice cream store, buses to anywhere you want to go , AMAZING parks, lots of small cute shops and several laundries are all within a two block radius. The owners speak fluent English/Spanish, live near by and they were extremely accomodating. What a beautiful safe neighborhood! We felt extremely safe and free to come and go at all hours in this area. Some of the highlights within walking distance are: The Zoo,The Rose Garden, the Japanese Gardens, The Boitanical Gardens, The Evita Museum, great restaurants and an empanada cafe next door. We totally recommend the City Tour. You can purchase a 24 or 48 hour ticket on these really nice tourist buses and get off and on anywhere on the route. These pass within three block of the apartment. We also took advantage of the bike trails throughout the Palermo and the surrounding areas. We rented bikes and spent several hours biking through the streets and parks of Buenos Aires. This was a great place to stay and we look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Buenos Aires.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you, it was great to have you and we are glad you had a great stay in Buenos Aires and look forward to your next trip back!

About the owner: I am from Argentina and my husband is originally from the USA but grew up in Argentina. We met and married in Argentina, moved to the USA where we lived for 15 years. We spent the following 15 years living and working in Latin America (Chile, Argentina and Mexico) and we finally decided to settle down and live in Buenos Aires.
Why the Owner Chose Palermo:
We originally bought this apartment when a job transfer moved us away from Argentina. We wanted a good place to stay during our regular return visits to BA to see friends, family and enjoy the city we love. We wanted an apartment in the city, close to downtown but also close to the park district. We wanted a vibrant neighborhood environment with plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes, Palermo Chico has it all...and when we moved back to Argentina we bought an apartment in the same neighborhood to settled down in.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The apartment area is surrounded by parks with a rare and invigorating mix of nature and big city life. The nature setting in the midst of one of the worlds great cities attracts a constant stream of joggers, bikers, roller-bladers, paddle boaters, strollers, soccer players, Frisbee fans, picnics and always more than one unexpected surprise...
The neighborhood streets are tree lined on both sides and the branches form a canopy that shades the small shops, bakeries, flower kiosks, magazine stands, vegetable and butcher shops as well as a wide variety of restaurants. The area is only a short cab ride to the downtown businesses district that offers opera, ballet, theater, concerts, movies and shopping.
