  I am just completing a 3 month winter rental here at this unit. Upon arriving I was a bit disappointed with how "tired" this unit looked. Everything was very old and outdated. It was advertised as having a washer'/dryer in the unit but that was incorrect. The owner did give me a $50 credit for this error. They do have a large laundry facility on site that is coin-operated. It was also stated that the master bedroom had a queen bed, which in fact it had a king size bed and very comfortable!! That was a big plus! I spoke with Karen the manager of the unit and told her of my concerns and she very graciously offered for me to look at 3 different units that were available in a different location on the beach. Although the other 3 units were much nicer inside, with newer furniture, nothing beat the view that I had. I decided at that moment that what I had for a view was much more valuable than any furnishings! The view is SPECTACULAR. I slept every night with my bedroom slider door open (which is safe because I was on the 7th floor) and listened to the sound of the surf and felt the cool ocean breeze coming into my room. The balcony is very spacious and can easily seat 6 people. Days would go by that I never left the resort. I only had to leave to go shopping. I stayed the winter on my own and always felt very safe. Everything I needed was right in the hotel building. I used the pool, hot tubs, sauna and gym frequently and they have an awesome breakfast buffet every morning. At the end of February the River City Cafe opened and they advertise as having the best burgers~~and they do!!! There is a bar/nightclub on site and they have karaoke, music and dancing. It was great fun! When I first arrived at the condo, there were a lot of small issues that needed tending to. I would call Karen or Matt (managers) and they responded immediately and resolved the problems. They are wonderful to work with!! I would recommend renting this unit!! Hopefully the owner will update the inside so that it matches the amazing view.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owner has already blocked out dates to come down and redecorate after your departure. He had purchased it last fall and has been unable to come down to take care of it due to the rentals booked.   Great location. Clean unit. Second bedroom was somewhat on the smaller size with no dresser or TV. Would be a good room for two smaller children. We had taken four adults down... so the second bedroom wasn't as accommodating to this need. Master bedroom (and living room) had a fantastic view with dresser and closet. Ocean Annie's music could be heard from balcony --- but not so much that it was a problem... in fact, it was nice to have the entertainment! Would definitely recommend. Manager and cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly.

  Location fairly secluded by Grand Strand standards. Beach not overly crowded. Condo had spectacular views and we enjoyed watching dolphins swim close to shore one morning. Need a car if u stay here as there is not a lot within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again however I would like to recommend to owner that the linens and pillows get an upgrade. Everything else was great.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.
