Pelican Beach Resort has it all and this beautiful unit will make your stay truly enjoyable. Both the living room and the master bedroom have sliding glass doors with full access to the balcony. The penthouse view of this top floor unit has an incredible gulf view (see picture left) from the living room, dining room, updated kitchen and master bedroom. Floor to ceiling mirrors in the living/dining room enhance these views from within. The guest bedroom has a view of the adjacent lake and Destin Harbor in the distance(see picture below). The uniquely beautiful Destin Harbor, with it's many restaurants and shopping, is within a short 2 mile drive.
Brand new updated kitchen with stainless steel applicances, all wood cabinets and granite countertops. Top of the line slide-in- range has warming drawer and effortless baking. Side-by-side refrigerator has in door water and ice.
The unit is equipped with high speed wireless internet access, three TV's, a VCR, two DVD players and a stereo. We've also stocked the entertainment armoire with books and movies that will provide entertainment for the entire family. And we keep beach umbrellas, chairs, boogie boards and some toys in the storage closet for your use. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and the guest bedroom has a built in system that includes a plush queensize bed with a stairway (not a ladder) to a bunk bed and a hideaway trundle bed.
We have a very comfortable love seat and sofa (not a sleeper)in the living area. For extra sleeping we have a full size roll away that is much more comfortable than your typical sofa sleeper. Dining room table seats six..

Why the Owner Chose Pelican Beach Resort
For those who have visited Destin, I don't have to describe how beautiful the beaches and the harbor are. Our condo not only has georgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico, but also of the various other waterways that make Destin the boating captial of the Panhandle.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We try to make our condo truly livable with decorative touches, pictures and accessories. It's equipped with three TV's and three DVD players, one VCR, books, DVD's and tapes, cable TV and wireless Internet and much more.
Owner's Map of Pelican Beach Resort
We are Paul and Julie Pritchard. We both grew up in New Orleans and both graduated from the Univesity of New Orleans with degrees in Accounting. In 1981, we moved to the Atlanta area and have been living in Roswell, Georgia ever since. We have three children, two boys, Chris and Greg, and one daughter, Blake. Although all three were born in Atlanta, they, like us, have grown up to be die-hard LSU fans. We suspect that our youngest may have to change her loyalty as she is now attending UGA!
We have been coming to Destin for many years and discovered the Pelican Beach Resort in 2003. We bought our two bedroom condo in 2004. Although most of our guests come to relax and unwind, we come and spend much of our time trying to find ways to make our condo more comfortable and enjoyable for our family and guests.
We hope that you will will visit with us and make a practice of coming back year after year as so many of our other guests have done.

The Condo was exactly like the photos, clean and comfortable. Absolutely beautiful views of the beach and the city/bay. Quick and easy access to the pool and the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The Back Porch restaraunt was excellent. I would not recommend Dewey's Destin restaraunt.

We just returned from our first visit to Destin and absolutely loved it!! The condo was just as you see in the pictures. It was very accomodating and had everything we needed. The beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for our use were great since we flew down. The views from the 20th floor unit were wonderful. We would definitely rent this unit again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!!!

Excellent Penthouse View, Super Clean Room with all the amenities. View of the Gulf was amazing. Just to sit on the balcony and overlook the beach and watch the dolphins on one of Florida's Best Beaches, is just breath taking. The photos are exactly what you see but BETTER .GREAT GETAWAY WILL RETURN!!!!

A beautifully decorated unit, true to the pictures shown, with the most amazing views in both directions. The resort is well kept and clean and in an excellent location to restaurants and shopping, and of course, right on the most gorgeous beach.

Words cannot describe how wonderful my vacation was with my friends this year. Pelican Beach was more than I ever dreamed of. The view couldn't have been more perfect. I highly recommend everyone to stay on the top floor. It was breathtaking, any time of the day. Everything we needed was within either walking distance or a short drive. Whether we ate out or stayed in and cooked ourselves, it was all fantastic. Can't wait til the next time!!!! Thank you so much Paul and Julie!!!

WOW - what a place!! We just got back from a week in PARADISE!! The view from both the deck, and the front...breathtaking!! The location was perfect for ANYTHING you wanted to do. SHOP, EAT, SWIM, EAT, SHOP and SWIM!! Speaking of eating...so many to choose from, within a mile...Lucky Snapper, AJ's, The Back Porch, The Donut Hole and Another Broken Egg. We also had to have a little Mexican thrown in...Pepito's was great!! And then right out the front door was Mellow Mushroom Pizza - Absolutely PERFECT!! I just got back from Destin Pelican Beach Resort. Me, my wife, and our 2 year old son stayed here from Sep 1 - 8 2007. We absolutely loved the unit. This was our second time staying at Pelican Beach Resort, but the first time we used VRBO to rent direct from the owner. Paul was very nice, easy to contact and a real pleasure to work with. It was great not having to check in/out at the front desk and the room was great, exactly as described. We didn't have any problems at all and we would definitely rent the same room again. Thanks for a great vacation!!

We just returned from spending two weeks in your beautiful condo in Destin. We have stayed in the Pelican for nearly 10 years but had never rented directly from the owner. We loved it. You were so nice to work with and it was so easy. No check-ins and check-outs and everything was awesome. It was the next best thing to owning your own. We absolutely loved the view from the front and the back of the condo. When going out of the condo, looking over almost the entire isle of Destin was so awesome. We never realized that Destin was surrounded by so much water. The sunsets to the West were so beautiful and the view of the Gulf in the day and then the lights of the city by night made us content to sit on the veranda for hours. It was certainly the "top of the world". I think our favorite time was in the early morning, on the veranda with our coffee, the warm sun shining on us and watching the dolphins. Being on the 20th floor was not only beautiful but it was quiet. We were able to sleep late because we only heard the sounds of the ocean waves. Also, the condo is so spacious. There were only two of us but it was wonderful to have all that room to spread out and make home for 2 weeks. God provided us with great weather and the most beautiful beach and water in the U.S., and you provided us with a great Condo. Thank you so much and you will be hearing from us next year. My husband and I stayed at Pelican Beach Resort for the first time in May. It was everything that the owners say it is. My brother & sister even came for about 3 days out of the week and said we could not have picked a better place to stay. This unit was great and the views cannot be beat from this top floor unit. The only regret we have is not getting to stay longer!!
