The Condo was exactly like the photos, clean and comfortable. Absolutely beautiful views of the beach and the city/bay. Quick and easy access to the pool and the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The Back Porch restaraunt was excellent. I would not recommend Dewey's Destin restaraunt.

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

We just returned from our first visit to Destin and absolutely loved it!! The condo was just as you see in the pictures. It was very accomodating and had everything we needed. The beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for our use were great since we flew down. The views from the 20th floor unit were wonderful. We would definitely rent this unit again. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!!!

Recommended for:Families with young children, sightseeing.

Excellent Penthouse View, Super Clean Room with all the amenities. View of the Gulf was amazing. Just to sit on the balcony and overlook the beach and watch the dolphins on one of Florida's Best Beaches, is just breath taking. The photos are exactly what you see but BETTER .GREAT GETAWAY WILL RETURN!!!!

A beautifully decorated unit, true to the pictures shown, with the most amazing views in both directions. The resort is well kept and clean and in an excellent location to restaurants and shopping, and of course, right on the most gorgeous beach.

Words cannot describe how wonderful my vacation was with my friends this year. Pelican Beach was more than I ever dreamed of. The view couldn't have been more perfect. I highly recommend everyone to stay on the top floor. It was breathtaking, any time of the day. Everything we needed was within either walking distance or a short drive. Whether we ate out or stayed in and cooked ourselves, it was all fantastic. Can't wait til the next time!!!! Thank you so much Paul and Julie!!!

WOW - what a place!! We just got back from a week in PARADISE!! The view from both the deck, and the front...breathtaking!! The location was perfect for ANYTHING you wanted to do. SHOP, EAT, SWIM, EAT, SHOP and SWIM!! Speaking of eating...so many to choose from, within a mile...Lucky Snapper, AJ's, The Back Porch, The Donut Hole and Another Broken Egg. We also had to have a little Mexican thrown in...Pepito's was great!! And then right out the front door was Mellow Mushroom Pizza - Absolutely PERFECT!! I just got back from Destin Pelican Beach Resort. Me, my wife, and our 2 year old son stayed here from Sep 1 - 8 2007. We absolutely loved the unit. This was our second time staying at Pelican Beach Resort, but the first time we used VRBO to rent direct from the owner. Paul was very nice, easy to contact and a real pleasure to work with. It was great not having to check in/out at the front desk and the room was great, exactly as described. We didn't have any problems at all and we would definitely rent the same room again. Thanks for a great vacation!!

We just returned from spending two weeks in your beautiful condo in Destin. We have stayed in the Pelican for nearly 10 years but had never rented directly from the owner. We loved it. You were so nice to work with and it was so easy. No check-ins and check-outs and everything was awesome. It was the next best thing to owning your own. We absolutely loved the view from the front and the back of the condo. When going out of the condo, looking over almost the entire isle of Destin was so awesome. We never realized that Destin was surrounded by so much water. The sunsets to the West were so beautiful and the view of the Gulf in the day and then the lights of the city by night made us content to sit on the veranda for hours. It was certainly the "top of the world". I think our favorite time was in the early morning, on the veranda with our coffee, the warm sun shining on us and watching the dolphins. Being on the 20th floor was not only beautiful but it was quiet. We were able to sleep late because we only heard the sounds of the ocean waves. Also, the condo is so spacious. There were only two of us but it was wonderful to have all that room to spread out and make home for 2 weeks. God provided us with great weather and the most beautiful beach and water in the U.S., and you provided us with a great Condo. Thank you so much and you will be hearing from us next year. My husband and I stayed at Pelican Beach Resort for the first time in May. It was everything that the owners say it is. My brother & sister even came for about 3 days out of the week and said we could not have picked a better place to stay. This unit was great and the views cannot be beat from this top floor unit. The only regret we have is not getting to stay longer!!

What more can we say other than everything here was perfect!!!!!!! This unit had everything we needed, was clean and beautifully decorated. The view was spectacular and we felt very at home. The water was crystal clear and we saw dolphins from the balcony every day!! There was even beach chairs and boogie boards to use!!!!!! We will defintely stay in this unit again next year (or before) when we visit again. The location was great. Thanks for your hospitality!!! The Wilkinsons North Canton, OH.
