The cabin was so cute! And in a great location! Far enough away to be secluded but close enough to enjoy a day in Pigen Forge or Gatlinburg. The hot tub was our favorite part of the cabin! I will definitely be recommending this for my friends. I would recommend bringing extra towels and pillows though.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed including the little things that you typically have to provide yourself. The location was great because it was right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it was a very easy drive to both locations. The owners were great to work with and has provided a very nice cabin at a very affordable rate. I would highly recommend this cabin for a weekend getaway or longer.

Awesome Honeymoon 03/16/2012

My new husband and I wished for a great smoky mountain escape honeymoon and thats just what we got. The cabin is gorgeous inside and out. Great kitchen, dining table/area, living room with fireplace with gas logs, bedroom with jacuzzi tub, pool table, and deck with hot tub and plenty of rockers were more than we expected. The view is just a straight hillside from the back but the creek that runs at the bottom was very relaxing to here and you sit and relax whether in hot tub or rocking chairs. Also has a grill if you like that as well. Craig Wallace, the owner, went above and beyond to make sure we had a honeymoon memory we wouldnt forget and he achieved just that. We plan on coming back and staying for anniversary and any other occasion we can think of for the wonderful escape. Thanks again, it was AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great getaway location! Beautiful Mountain view, cold weather with warm fire and wake to a light blanket of new snow. The cabin is well equiped and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. Great communication from owner and we found it better than described which is always a welcome surprise.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at the cabin the weekend of Jan 14th and 15th. We were very impressed with everything the cabin had to offer. I proposed to my girlfriend by the fireplace after a romantic night on the town. We came back and enjoyed some wine by the fire and then popped the question. It was great she had no idea and was completly surprised. Thank you for keeping everything in the cabin up to par. We will be back in the future. The location of the cabin to pigeon forge and gatlinburg is perfect, its right in the middle for easy access to both.

The cabin was clean and in good repair. The view was not quite what I expected, road in front and embankment behind. I couldn't get in touch with anyone during my stay, either locally or owner. I needed the password for the wifi. Never got it. Housekeeping phone number was out of service. Other than that it was a nice deal for the money.

My wife and I stayed in Bear Country Hideaway for 6 days. We found it to be very comfortable, and really enjoyed the stay. Craig has done a wonderful job with furnishing the cabin, right down to the can opener! The cabin is very easy to get to, about 15 minutes to the GSMNP and 5 minutes to Pigeon forge. Bear Country Hideaway will be first on our list of places to stay when we come to Gatlinburg!!!!!

This cabin was perfect for our little weekend getaway. It is in the perfect location (between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge) and was much bigger than I expected. It was very clean and everything has been well-kept. The gas logs were perfect on a chilly March evening...and the hot tub was great as well. I was very impressed with this cabin. You get much more than what you pay for! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

My wife and I were very pleased with the Cabin that we stayed in. It was clean, neat, cozy, and convienent. Within 10 minutes we could be in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. We chose to eat at the house because I like to cook and the grille, Kitchen and deck (the woods and creek behind the house were very RELAXING and that is what we went to do) worked out very well for us. Even when it rained one day.......who cared! Watching the raindrops dance off of the leaves from the private deck was a-one-of-a-kind experience. Local attractions and restaurants are close enough, so the location of the cabin and the incredible sights around it make it an absolutely perfect spot. I just wanted to say we loved the cabin. It was very relaxing and it was our 5th annerversry. We did not spend much time at the cabin but when we did we made the best of it. We did not have our kids with us so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The only thing that we did not like is that we could not get the pizza guy to come out to the cabin but other than that it was fun!!!!

I'm pretty sure there is a pizza place that does deliver to Sky Harbor, but I can't remember which one. I will find out and make sure to post it in both cabins. But, just so you know, the absolute best pizza in the world is right in Gatlinburg and it's called "Best Italian Pizzeria". Sadly, they don't deliver either, but it's worth the drive. We have their number on speed dial so when we get into Pigeon Forge we call in a carry out order and pick it up before we go to the cabin. The pizza's are big enough to feed a small army. Cabin was exactly what we were looking for - not right in town, but not too far away - right in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Plenty of privacy, but could still have pizza delivered!

What a delightful spring break of hiking in the Smokie Mountains. We'd come home and relax in the hot tub. I even enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. It was as good as a home-away-from-home!

This cabin and everything to do with it was Awesome. They take care of every detail, no matter how small. The location was perfect. We stayed at the Dream Catcher. We recently spent a wonderful October weekend in "The Bear Country Hideaway Cabin" We were so impressed with the design and decor of the cabin.It was the most comfortable cabin we have ever stayed in,we felt right at home. Bear Country Hideaway cabin was great! just got back from 2 nights there, wish it was more. It was our first time renting a cabin and we loved it. Bear Country Hideaway was absolutely perfect! When I found out that Philip was coming home from Iraq for a visit I knew I wanted to plan the perfect vacation for us. I chose this cabin from several that I looked at online. Craig was wonderful to work with while getting things setup. The cabin was a complete surprise to Philip and he was in awe when we walked in the door. The smile on his face told me I had done well. We used everything except the washer/dryer and that's only because we forgot detergent. The location was great too- in town within minutes. It was an unforgetable! We have agreed to go back to Bear Country Hideaway next year to celebrate his return home from Iraq. Thank you for building such a beautiful place. We loved it! I think we will rename it "Our Little Hideaway".

I could not have asked for a cleaner place to stay. Kudos, to your housekeeper. The cabin is charming and my kids and I enjoyed the pool table and hot tub very much. We are frequent vistors to the area but have never used the trolley before. We found the cabin's location to be very convient to the Gatlinburg welcome center and trolley stop. So much easier and cheaper than trying to find parking in town. Thanks for the last minute accommodations and for making our stay pleasant. My only recommedation is a table or two on the porch so you can sit your coffee down :)

We have visited the Smokies a few times before, but this was our first cabin stay! It has spoiled us forever....no more hotel rooms!!! Everything was perfect from the decorated Christmas tree and warm cozy fireplace to the very relaxing hot tub. Our son and his fiance were with us, and on the drive home he said...oh no.. no hot tub tonight! we really miss that!
