  This flat located close to Kensington Park, shops, transportation, and a fantastic pub was a wonderful place to spend more than a week in London. The flat was very clean and bright, kitchen was well equipped, living and dining area was quite spacious and comfortable, and the "feeling" one gets in this flat is one of peace. An extra bathroom was a luxury to have. Plenty of towels and linens were provided as well. In renting this flat, a renter gets the feeling of living in London and you will enjoy every moment.   My wife and I stayed here for a week and have mixed feelings about it. The good things about the flat are the location, the size, the nice kitchen, and the owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Unfortunately there were a number of problems which would prevent me from giving this flat a higher rating. It is a basement (lower ground floor apartment) so there are no views and not much light. I found the furniture to be in poor condition though the owner has plans to update it. We encountered several problems which other guests may or may not experience: no toilet paper, no trash bags, no clean sponges, no dishwasher soap, no laundry soap, burned out light bulb in bathroom, broken dishwasher, heat didn't work when we arrived, only one set of keys, broken dresser drawers, no proper bed (just mattress on the floor), filthy air vent in bathroom, constant sound of running water from flats above, slight sound of trains every few minutes, and no instructions for using appliances. All these problems are small on their own but added up. The owner said she was expecting to hire a new cleaning service and correct many of these problems so I hope you have a better experience than we did.

  This extremely clean and convenient flat is in an excellent location. It is close to the South Kensington tube, there are lots of buses nearby. Just down the street are lots of restaurants and grocery stores. It is very close to the Natural History, the Science and the Victoria and Albert museums. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park are a 5 minute walk away. The owner is helpful and goes out of her way to make sure that everything is as you expected. We have already recommended this flat to friends to plan to visit early next year. We would certainly consider renting it again. Bette & Victor, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

  I have booked another appt at Queensgate from the same owner in 2010 and i have booked that flat for 2012 i must say the owners are so friendly and welcoming and i had a wonderful time. i highly recommand the flats and the owners, the location is central, quiet, perfect with children. Tube, Busses everything there I can't wait to come back Estelle

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  IT WAS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE TO STAY IN THIS FLAT.IT IS EVERYTHING AND EVEN MORE AS IT PRESENTED BY THE OWNER. THE FLAT IS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, SPACIOUS, 3 MINUTES WALKING TO THE SOUTH KENSINGTON UNDERGROUND, WHICH IS A KEY TO REACH ALL TOURIST'S ATRACTIONS WITHIN MINUTES. THE OWNER IS VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED AND READY TO ANSWER ALL YOUR REQUESTS AND QUESTIONS.WOULD NOT EVEN THINK TWICE IF WILL NEED TO GO BACK.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

  Hemos estado 7 días 2 adultos y tres niños. El apartamento está perfectamente situado, con buenas comunicaciones, y la zona es muy bonita. Hay un supermercado muy cerca. El mayor inconveniente han sido los sofás-cama. Son bastante incómodos y los dos niños tuvieron que dormir desde la segunda noche sobre el sofá, sin abrir la cama (se clavan los muelles). El otro niño tuvo que dormir con nosotros en la cama del dormitorio. Cuando uno viaja, lo más importante del alojamiento es poder descansar bien por la noche después de andar todo un día fuera de casa. El dinero que dejamos en depósito para la limpieza nos lo han devuelto con un cheque por correo, con las consiguientes comisiones bancarias que nos ha correspondido abonar al ir a cobrarlo. Esto no hubiera ocurrido de haberlo devuelto en mano antes de irnos.
