Location! Location! Location! This is a brand new listing for the summer of 2012. Drive your car to this quaint 5 bedroom cottage located off of the busy road and you will not have a need to drive it again until you leave. This historic 1934 cottage is within walking distance to everything you could want: Splash in the waves of Lake Michigan at Holland State Park, eat an ice cream at the General Store, have dinner at Ottawa Beach Inn, hike the trail to Mount Pisgah and enjoy the incredible view or grab a hot dog from Dune Dogz. If you have a kayak or stand up paddle board, the launch is less than 2 blocks away. If fishing is your thing, there are 2 public fishing piers within walking distance. The public boat launch is less than 2 miles away.
At the end of day of fun activities, unwind on the 410 square foot 3 season porch with family and friends. There is tons of space for everyone to enjoy. Take a nap on the daybed or catch up with family and friends in the sitting room. There is also a large vintage dining room table that seats 10 to play board games or enjoy a meal. To sleep you will find 5 bedrooms that sleep 12 comfortably. The main floor boosts a queen size bed in a charming room with a historic built in dresser. The upstairs has 4 separate bedrooms. Two of the rooms have full beds and the other two have 5 twin beds total. Also upstairs you will find a beautiful old claw foot tub and vintage toilet. So cool yet so functional.
There is a garage to store your toys - boats or sea doos and ample parking around the cottage. In the garage you will find lawn games such as the bean bag toss and ladder ball. There is also a ping pong table for a family fun ping pong tournament. It almost seems to good to be true!
