Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch while you watch the deer and birds wake up.

My recent stay at the Silver Haus in San Marcos was fabulous. The location of the home is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of town. The proximity to restaurants, shopping and the San Marcos square is phenomenal. We were also a short drive from Gruene, Wonderland, and New Braunfels. The house itself is one of kind. The finishes and decorations are perfect and the house is huge! The accomodations and amenities that the homeowners had prepared for our stay were amazing. We will definetely stay there again and look forward to our next trip to the San Marcos Silver Haus!!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

The home was spacious and clean with space for a large group to find a little quiet time, but still be together. Dinner around the round table was awesome, a great place for eating and sharing bodacious stories. The fire pit and horseshoes were great fun in the cool evenings. I would definitely recommend this home for family reunions; we sure enjoyed it.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

We arrived to find everything we needed for a great extended weekend. We grilled and hung out by the fire pit 2 of the 4 nights. We enjoyed the nightlife of "The Square" and floated the San Marcos River on 2 different days! It was very convient to Texas State Tubes. We participated in the Dry Comal Creek 10th Annual Order of the Purple Foot Grape Stomp. We have done this event for the past 5 years and will now only be staying at the "Silver Haus" when we go!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

Rented this house for a weekend getaway with friends from the Houston area and several TSU alums. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for both couples and singles to sleep. The house was very centrally located for enjoying all that San Marcos has to offer, and the owner was able to recommend many attractions to enjoy. We enjoyed staying in the beautifully decorated house and would definitely return to stay another weekend. Our stay at Silver Haus was very comfortable and welcoming. This area has so many Fun and family oriented activities. The house furnished us with restaurant menus and directions to them and some really fun bars in the close area. The kitchen has all the Utensils for cooking there also. The house is well furnished and decorated With all the comforts of home, and we loved sitting on the porches and drinking our wine and Coffee. We are definitely looking forward to another stay at the Silver Haus in the near future!!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.
