I was very happy with our experience. The staff were very helpful. It was nice to have a boat to use and a bed rail for my little girl.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

We enjoyed our stay at Lake Forest. We had ample room and all of the comforts of home. It was really nice to have the stuffed chairs in the master bedroom and living room. It made watching tv more comfortable.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.

The units are well kept up. Also the kitchen is the best equipped that we have ever seen. I enjoyed the craft class and hearing about area activities. The staff was always friendly and courteous. The only down side to us was that there was no wood for the fireplace. Any units we have stayed in previously with a fireplace always had wood available to use. Great place and would consider going back again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed our stay at your resort the staff was very friendly and personable. The layout of the grounds property was easy to get around and kept up nice. The layout of the condo was nice too with the exception of the kitchen a little small, little more countertspace and good to go. The laundry facility room was very cozy and nice to have that accomadation. I will have no problem coming back here to your resort and have already told friends about it. Make sure to stop at Donna's Cafe in Eagle River for lunch, very good food and friendly service.There are beautiful hiking trails to enjoy. Also a nice short drive into michingan, the beautiful Bond Falls, BREATH TAKING!!! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.Look forward to next time. Our family has been vacationing at this resort for 30+ years and we are never disappointed. The location on the Chain of Lakes is outstanding - including one of the nicest beaches on the Chain and docks for any size boat (bring your boat or rent one locally). You can hike, swim, use kayaks, canoes, shop, golf, play tennis, relax, sightsee -whatever your heart desires...it is right here at the resort or nearby. Fun activities for kids once or twice a week too are provided by Activity Director. The units have everything you would need to cook in or there are restruants nearby. Excellent grocery store nearby too. Bedding, towels, etc. - all included ...even sugar, salt/pepper and coffee filters! The units are two stories - include a stairway. Access is good from upper level and lower level, but good to know that there are stairs. The units are clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake from every unit. The staff is friendly and helpful. Come and enjoy this wonderful vacation spot in Northern WI - you won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
