Location: Northstar, Lake Tahoe North Shore CA, Lake Tahoe California, California, USA (10 minutes from Truckee airport. 40 minute drive from Reno)

Accommodations:  Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths (Sleeps 6)

Our cabin is very cozy and comfortable. All new interior in perfect condition. Situated at the end of a quiet cul de sac for maximum privacy with a private wooded view from the balcony. Tastefully furnished throughout. It is very quiet and peaceful! Beds include: one king, one queen and two twins plus a loft area for play or added sleeping.

In the winter it features world class downhill, snowboarding, as well as cross country skiing. Mountain biking is fantastic in the summer. Loads of hiking trails, incredible recreation center recently expanded to include olympic sized pool as well as lap pool, three jacuzzi spas, tennis courts, 18 hole golf course, and horseback riding. All is facilities are within Northstar and accessible by the free shuttle service which will pick you up at your door!

For nightlife Northstar is only a 20 minute drive to the casinos at the Nevada border. Lake Tahoe is a 10 minute drive as is the quaint town of Truckee for shopping, movies and restaurants.

Rental includes all facilities including tennis, swimming pools, and fitness center. Shuttle service to the recreational center and ski slopes is free all year round.

Occupancy by more than quoted number of persons may result in additional charges and partial or complete forfeit of deposit.

  • A lovely house in a gorgeous setting. The house was nicely decorated, clean and everything worked well. We enjoyed the time spent in the house (lots of Boggle going on during the torrential rains of New Year's weekend) as well as the skiing and the area in general.   • A perfect getaway cabin for our family of four (with room to spare!). The property was extremely well kept with all the appliances and furnishings in excellent condition. The property is nice and quiet - truly a great place to relax. Northstar exceeded our expectations as a family ski area due to the quick free shuttle service and their abundant snow grooming capabilities.   • What a wonderful, cozy cabin. There was plenty of space for our family of four and having a large garage that accomodated our Suburban as well as all of our ski/snowboard gear was a real plus. The shuttle service at Northstar was excellent - door to door service from the cabin to the slopes. We would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful yet conveniently located place to enjoy the snow. P.S. The view of snow covered trees from the front windows was amazing.   • This is a classy place run by classy people. The accommodations were wonderful—best we’ve ever found at Northstar. For that matter, we cannot recall anything anywhere else that rivals it. The house is very clean and quite well furnished. TVs proliferate, but we enjoyed even more the comfortable surroundings for conversation and cards. The owners were remarkably helpful to us. We had some unusual needs regarding time and reservations, and they were very understanding and accommodating.
