This awesome South Tempe home is situated in one of the best possible locations in the Valley of the Sun, on the border of Tempe, Chandler, and the Ahwatukee area of Phoenix. Only a 15 minute ride from Downtown Phoenix and 10 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport, you will be positioned to do anything and everything you could imagine during your stay in Arizona.
Within one mile is Interstate 10 and Ahwatukee, five miles from the loop 101 which will take you to Old Town Scottsdale, and 10 minutes from Arizona State University just to name a few options. On the other hand, maybe you would just like to sit back, relax, and enjoy the resort like backyard pool, or partake in a game of billiards in the recreation room. This home offers it all!
Located just off Interstate 10, sports fans of all types will have easy access to all of the Valley's athletic teams. Head downtown to watch the Diamondbacks or Suns, or stay in Tempe at ASU where you can see any of the Sundevils' teams, as well as the Arizona Cardinals, play. The Fiesta Bowl is also hosted at ASU's Sundevil
Stadium. Here for Spring Training? The 2002 World Series Champion Anaheim Angels play at Diablo Stadium, only 10 minutes away. You will also be able to watch the Cubs, Giants, A's, Brewers, Royals, Padres, Mariners or Rangers while in the Phoenix area. If you plan on bringing along your clubs, 28 golf courses are located within 10 miles of the home. A short five minute walk will take you to the community's park which features a swing set for the kids, and full court basketball or beach volleyball for the big kids.
Not interested in sporting events? Not to worry. Within one mile, that’s right, one mile, are 29 different restaurants, several within walking distance. Two major shopping malls, Arizona Mills and and the Valley's newest mall, Chandler Fashion Square, are located within five miles. The Ahwatukee area of Phoenix with its numerous shopping centers is just one mile away.
As previously mentioned, the loop 101 offers direct access to Scottsdale, where even more shopping and world class restaurants can be found. There are also two different movie theatres within two miles of the home.
