This luxurious, two bedroom, Fairway Oaks villa with first floor convenience, has been totally renovated and refurnished. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with new granite countertops and cabinets, dining room, two full bathrooms and a large living room looking out to a lush forest and exotic lagoon.
The master bedroom has a KING-sized bed, walk-in-closet w/safe for your valuables, new 32" LCD TV w/cable and DVD/VCR player, and the second bedroom has two twin beds, cable TV and full bathroom. The living room has a sleeper sofa, new 32" LCD TV w/cable and DVD player and CD stereo. There is a computer desk set-up with FREE SECURE WiFi INTERNET ACCESS for your laptop, tablet or phone. The back deck, accessible off the living room, provides a comfortable area to enjoy beverages or meals, while overlooking the lagoon.
THE VILLA IS MAINTAINED BY THE KIAWAH GOLF RESORT AND ENTITLES YOU TO RESORT PRIVILEGES AND AMENITIES INCLUDING POOLS AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. Included is the Resort's Night Heron Pool Complex, offering a 25m Jr. Olympic Pool, lap lanes and wading pool. The pool is seasonally heated or cooled for your comfort with large sunning areas, shaded areas, changing facilities w/free towel service and close proximity to the beach! Sandwiches, ice cream and beverages are available at the Night Heron Grill. POOL ACCESS IS AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY TO OUR VILLA GUESTS.
The villa's ideal West Beach location is adjacent to the 17th fairway of the challenging Cougar Point Golf Course and the West Beach Tennis Club, and less than a five-minute walk to the 10-mile long ocean beach. It is a short walk to many amenities including restaurants, The Straw Market, new General Store, and the fitness center. We are in a secluded yet convenient location only a 2-minute drive from the main gate, close-by to the new award-winning FRESHFIELDS Shopping area at the entrance to Kiawah Island.

We have a small family and enjoyed our stay at this property, it was clean and meet all of needs. We are very familar with Kiawah and suggest it to any family wanting a quiet yet fun vacation. It was great to be able to cook there and have all the utilities necessary. The villa has a lovely view of the lagoon and it was a bonus to have all resort privileges. We enjoyed the pool at night and beach during the day.It was a very pleasing trip.
Recommended for:Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

From the moment we entered the gates on day 1 we were in love, direct location to Kiawah, only a few blocks from the gate, walking distance to the beach and we took advantage using the exercise room. The conventience store outside the gate was marvelous for FRESH egg salad sandwiches, FRESHFIELDS just a few blocks from the entrance and has anything "reasonable" and not escillated pricing. Mort's villa was the perfect location for us: 2 bedrooms - my sister had the large one, I had the twin. We were amazed with the closets, places to put any and everything on shelves in the bedrooms. Flat screen televisions in 3 rooms. A large dining table. A kitchen with "any" and "everything" you can expect to need. (I recommend if you are there as long as we were to bring zip lock bags for cooked left overs.. easy to travel with or from Freshfields). We were there for a vacation and wedding and genealogy research. Not enough time for everything, so we will return. We had breakfast every morning on the porch, watched the alligators (2) daily in the AM, gorgeous birds and squirrels would visit us . Peaceful and calm atmosphere. The PERK of this rental is you can go anywhere in minutes. .... anywhere, when you are so close to the gates and a few minute drive to "anything" under the sun. Expect a toaster oven, microwave, washer and dryer (we did not use w/d), bowls, cups, saucers, anything and everything for an at home atmosphere. Should you have any problems - and I do not think you will, help is a minute away. I would recommend this rental for short or long term rental. This side of Sea Elder Court is perfect - when you enter Sea Elder court the Villa is the first one on the RIGHT. This is a bright and cheery location you will want to book immediately for your next get away. Sincerely happy visitors at Mort's.................. (BTY - he supplies dish washer tablets - now how is that) Mort was helpful the one time I contacted him, his photographs are exactly what the rooms look like - except more of a home and inviting. The villa was exceptionally clean on arrival with lights on where we could easily walk up the few steps. We recommend Night Heron Park - buy the glass for $20.00 and refill with drinks for $5.00 each time you desire ... money's worth! Beauty salon at Freshfields - superb woman (reddish hair was my stylist) she did exactly what I needed for a wedding. If you do not bring a hat go to Costal Sport

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation. The villa was comfortable and so well equipped. We even had someone from another villa come by to borrow a can opener!
