  This is a lovely home that has everything you would need for a quiet get-a-way. The rooms are spacious. The pool, hot tub and large patio are under a lanai. There are two large bedrooms and baths, one on each side of the house. There is an extra living room or game room. The house is on 2 1/2 acres and very relaxing. The near by Manasota Beach is within walking distance and not crowded. You can watch the sunset, beautiful! The owner is not far and will have anything you might need. This place is perfect for one or two couples needing a quiet and relaxing vacation. There are a lot of nearby things to do and see. We hope to come back and visit again!

  If you are truly looking for your own paradise for your vacation, look no further. This is the place for you. It sits at the end of a dead end street within walking distance of one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. The house can barely be seen from the road and sits on a gorgeous secluded 2.5 acres. You feel as if you are on your own paradise island. It is a truly romantic destination for anyone looking for complete privacy. It's pool with hot tub and beautiful lanai is so inviting and luxurious you will be lost in the arms of your loved one. Yet with all this property has to offer, with just a short walk you are at one Florida's most beautiful beaches. With a short drive (5 mins), you are within distance of great restaurants, or any shopping you might want to enjoy. The owner is only a call away and is more than happy to oblige you in anyway. He is very kind and inviting. You couldn't ask for more. If you are truly looking for a Romantic Getaway, I tell you look no farther, this property is all you could ask for and more, you will not be sorry. Thanks Bob for all your hospitality.   We have just returned from an idyllic two weeks in this wonderful corner of paradise. The villa has everything that you could ask for, furniture and fittings are first class and of very high quality, the pool and spa area were outstanding a water temperature of 89 was heaven. The setting is outstanding, secluded at the end of a quiet road, no passing traffic, complete privacy you aren't overlooked from any direction. We arrived at 10.00 p.m after our long journey from England. and were met by the owner Bob, he showed us where everything was and how it worked, provided us with those basic essentials like coffee , milk etc then left us to unwind with the reassuring message that if we needed him he was only 100 yards away. That was how he was for the length of our stay, completely unobtrusive but always on hand if there was a problem or a question. When we arrived we were quite stressed having had a very hectic few months, we were in need of a rest and the chance to recharge our batteries, we could not have chosen a better place, in no time we were relaxed and happily enjoying ourselves, the clock was unimportant we got up when we felt like it, swam when we had the energy, ate when we were hungry and went to bed when we were tired. It was our wedding anniversary on the Saturday and on the Friday evening there was Bob with a bottle of champagne for us, a wonderfully kind gesture which we so appreciated. The general area is ideal, all the shops and facilities that you can possibly need within a couple of miles, a wonderful beach and amazing sunsets. Venice and Englewood are full of character with some excellent restaurants and places of interest. This is a villa that we certainly intend to return to, we have rented seven others in previous years but this is by far the best. If you are just one or two couples wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the ideal venue. Our grateful thanks to Bob for allowing us to stay in his wonderful home, as soon as we are able we shall return for another honeymoon. Many thanks Karen and Clive

  A place that deserves its special word of its own-- FABULISSIMO! A beautiful spacious and well maintained home in the secluded heart of a lovely, quiet Florida getaway town. By far the nicest vacation place we've ever rented in the area. Two large bedroom suites with comfy king beds and plenty of storage space opening onto a large screened in pool area (lanai) with grill. Large bathrooms & big, well-equipped modern kitchen. Clean linens etc. Big living room & comfy den w/cable TV with wireless high speed web access. Short drive to beach- a nice walk for someone who likes a hike, but the pool/spa with lots of sun & plenty of space for its outdoor seating may prove too tempting to leave. Off the beaten path neighborhood is very quiet and excellent for biking/walking. Yet the house is only a short drive from all the shopping & dining out you'd want. Seafood eateries are very good, plus a special shout-out to "Mama's" Italian restaurant. Englewood is off the beaten path and the tourist hordes but close to I-75/US-41 and the Tampa & RSW airports. Nearby Venice is a gem of sightseeing and more shopping. Sarasota 35 mins., away Tampa St Pete an hour and a half. But you'll be so comfy and content in this home you'll be reluctant to go out. We found the owner to be very accommodating and a pleasure to meet. We've already booked for 2012!

  As professional innkeepers, my husband and I are very fussy about where we stay when we take a vacation. This home was new to the rental market. (with no reviews to go by) Our concerns were immediately eliminated by the property owner during our first conversation. The private setting and location, along with an enclosed heated pool and spa, as well as a fair marked price sold us on this vacation home. The large rooms and open floor plan was conducive to easy relaxed living with all rooms opening to the large screened room with pool and spa. Boasting two master bedroom suites our king sized bed was comfortable allowing us to get the rest that we needed. The kitchen was clean and well equipted as was the entire home. The central air conditioner kept this home quite comfortable which was very important to us. The location at the end of a dead end street on a secluded and private setting was peaceful and quiet, with no road noise to disturb us unlike so many others that we looked at that were on busy streets.Tt was only a few short blocks to the unpopulated and pristine beach. We found restaurants, shopping and sight seeing all conveniently located to this property. Because of the pool /spa and privacy of this home and property, we did not want to leave it much at all. The the neighborhood was conducive to riding bikes and walking. As their first renters, we have to admit that we were completely satisfied with this property. Our time spent there was all that we had hoped for and we are looking forward to our next visit to this Hidden Treasure. Thank you to the property owners for providing a wonderful vacation destination for two weary innkeepers. We will be return.

  Das großzügige, komfortable und saubere Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnstrasse und ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in Floridas Süden, lädt aber auch zum Entspannen, Erholen und Sonnenbaden ein. Die herrlichen Strände von Manasota Key sind ein paar Autominuten entfernt, man kann auch zu Fuß dorthin spazieren. Bob Friedell, der freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer, hat sein Haus sehr gut eingerichtet. Alle Geräte funktionieren einwandfrei ( Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Trockner ). Vorhanden sind Waschpulver, Weichspüler, Geschirrspülmittel, Seifen, Küchenrolle und Toilettenpapier - sehr hilfreich, wenn man mit dem Flugzeug anreist. Handtücher, auch Badetücher für Pool und Strand, sind ausreichend vorhanden. Internet funktoniert einwandfrei, es gibt mehrere Telefone, mit denen man kostenlos in USA telefonieren kann oder ( aus Deutschland ) angerufen werden kann. Ein großzügiger Garten um das Grundstück sorgt für wirkliche Privatsphäre. Supermärkte und Restaurants sind auch in wenigen Fahrminuten zu erreichen. Der Pool kann beheizt werden und lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Wir verbrachten wunderschöne und erholsame Tage in einem sehr empfehlenswerten Haus.
