Photo 1 - Clonakilty, Cork, Ireland - Sweet Cottage Rental Beside a Beautiful Beach! West Cottage This Characterful cottage provides a peaceful, stress free retreat. A sandy tidal beach lies just a minute’s walk away and offers a tranquil swim, a rugged coastline climb or just a wander around the beach. The surrounding countryside is dotted with small colourful towns and villages. Clonakilty, the home of Michael Collins, is just seven miles from the cottage and has a wide variety of delicious restaurants and in particular a traditional irish pub where many renowned and lively bands play, De Barra's. There is also a hotel and spa in Incheydoney with an indoor sea water pool and a thalassic health spa. Bandon and Lisselan offer great golf clubs Bandon (18 hole) and Lisselan (six holes). Bandon also has fishing on the sea trout and salmon river, day passes are available. Also Kilcoleman fishery is well worth the day. Kinsale, a lively harbouring town is 23 miles away and well worth the trip by day or night. Home to the famous and atmospheric restaurant, Toddies. Winner of many awards such as the Jameson's best restaurants Toddies sets an exceptional standard for itself, the food never fails to please. Courtmacsherry is five miles away and has sailing, riding, sea fishing and windsurfing facilities along the beautiful strand. Courtmacsherry also has a delicious restaurant,Travara Lodge. The nearest shop is two and a half miles away and is a big Co-Op. And the nearest pub is the same distance, both in Barryroe. An open plan sitting room/ kitchen downstairs is floored with slate and rugs. Two steps up a charming dining area is situated. Next to this is a double bedroom (all double beds are king size) with a window leading outside into the herb garden. Upstairs a second double bed and a single bedded room has a small stone balcony with steps leading down beside the garden. Along the corridor upstairs is a bathroom including both a bath and a shower and beside this is another double bedroom with a large window with a beautiful view of the surrounding hillsides. For extra accommodation we also have a coach house which sleeps three and has one bedroom on a balcony overlooking the sitting room which has a single bed in it. It also has a bathroom and a kitchen with all the necessary appliances in it. This can be booked at an extra cost.

Heating,Electricity&cleaning is charged at a fixed rate of €80/week each.
NOTE: Weekly Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.
A Deposit of Half the Total Cost Must Be Received Before Cottage Will Be Booked.
