This condo is located in the oceanfront property of Seascape Sur. It has a view of the ocean from the upstairs living area. We just purchased this condo last year and have upgraded everything.
There are two bedrooms and a den. Each bedroom has a king size bed with a high quality mattress. We have a trundle twin bed that can be placed in the upstairs den to sleep two or placed in the master bedroom to accommodate children.
There is a washer and dryer inside the unit. There is a gas grill on the upper balcony. The downstairs patio is accessible from both bedrooms from the sliding glass doors. There is a 46' Sony high definition flat screen TV upstairs that has a HDMI cable attached for viewing from your laptop. There is also basic cable, and a DVD player. There is wireless Internet in the unit, and also in the main pool area of the complex.
The kitchen has all the necessities; dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, blender, pots, dishes, and anything you would like to help yourself too from our pantry. (Ketchup, Mustard, etc.)
There is hardwood and marble floors throughout the condo. There is carpet only in the two bedrooms. There is a fireplace in the living room. The upstairs living area is mainly all windows to take advantage of the beautiful ocean view. The sunsets each night are spectacular.
This property is our primary residence, you are welcome to use anything you see in our pantry to save you time and money from the grocery store. You are welcome to use our laundry supplies if you need to wash your clothes. Our home will be your home, we hope that you would have your best vacation here.

We were so pleased with the condo, the location, and the owner! The condo is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Access from the Interstate was a breeze. It was wonderful to go to a vacation house that had stocked cupboards and paper products immediately available. Beds were comfy and towels, wash clothes, and linens all included in the rental price. The complex is amazingly landscaped with lush foliage, ponds, waterfalls and aquatic life. Convenient to grocery store and restaurants. The owner is a super host and refunded our deposit within 72 hours. She offered the use of anything in the cupboards or fridge that we wanted to use with no expectation of compensation for what we had used. She was excellent in communicating with me and providing details on the condo and the complex. I hope to have the opportunity to rent from the owner again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful stay.The kids loved playing in the waves at the nearby beach (right down the stairs). All the San Diego attractions were only a short drive away. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Dawn & Mark are wonderful hosts, we felt like we were at home. We would definitively love to come back.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

About the owner: My husband and I are new to vacation rentals. We currently have long term rental property, but we wanted to start renting out our primary residence to establish this property as a vacation rental. We are very close to retirement and would like to trade, and rent this property. My husband grew up in Michigan and I grew up in California. We have been married 23 years. We have given this place our love and care, and it is very clean, bright, spacious and comfortable. We love living here, and we hope you will have a great vacation here.
Why the Owner Chose Solana Beach:
The Seascape Sur complex is a beautifully landscaped tropical setting. It is the most lush of all the bluff communities. There is a Koi pond/river that travels down the middle of the complex. It has two little waterfalls on each end that meet up in the middle of the large Koi pond area. Along with the Koi fish, you will see turtles, too.
The front of the complex has a walking path that has a spectacular view of the ocean and beach below. The stairs at the end of the path take you to the sand below.
There are two lighted tennis courts. There are two pool/hot tub areas. One of the pools is directly in front of our condo. There is a sauna. There are outside grills that overlook the tennis courts for large parties. The club house has a pool table, ping pong table, library and board games.
We have bicycles, body boards, tennis rackets, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, football, and volleyball.
Torrey Pines Golf Course is just down the road past Del Mar for golf, or the Solana Beach Executive Golf Course is just down the Lomas Santa Fe.
Restaurants are just outside your door of the complex. We will have a map of all the places to eat and see. You can visit Sea World which is only 20 minutes south on highway 5. There is Lego Land and Water park 15 minutes north on highway 5. Next to Lego Land is the huge Outlet Center for the serious shoppers. But close to home is the fabulous Cedros District with its wonderful shops and restaurants. Cedros District is just a 5 minute walk across the pedestrian bridge on highway 101.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
This condo is in the best location for the Del Mar Race Track. You can literally walk there. But after racing is done for the day, you can walk to everything else as well. It is a beautiful condo, that is clean, inviting, and has everything you would need for a great family vacation.
