King's Kottage was completed 2010 in the award winning watercolor resort. Our Kottage is in dragonfly park and directly located across the street is dragonfly pool.
The downstairs living area features comfortable cottage furnishings, flat screen tv, dvd, hd cable, high speed wireless internet. Dining room table seats 8, and granite bar with 3 barchairs. Downstairs is 1/2 bath.
The upstairs den features couch, bean bag chairs, flat screen tv and dvd. All bedrooms are upstairs. Master bdr/private bath, 2nd bedroom private bath, bunk room with bath.

A quiet place for solace. It is just as the owner described. My favorite place was the front porch dinette table- a great place for family meals or to just sit and unwind from the beach goers. This home is quite cozy and convenient to dragonfly pool (acroos the street) and a short bike ride to publix, as I do not like being on the busier streets of watercolor. The beds and couches were comfy allowing for rejuvenation of the body/mind/soul. I am ready for more "R & R"... I have already reserved my dates for 2013!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

About the owner: We were introduced to Watercolor Resort 8 years ago and continued to return a couple of times a year. In addition to our sisters and daughters vacationing with us at King's Kottage, we invite women to attend our spiritial retreats. Doug & I live in Baton Rouge, and hope to make Watercolor our permanent home in the future.
Why the Owner Chose WaterColor:
After a summer vacation at watercolor, my grandson said
'Papa Doug, when I grow up, I want to become a brain surgeon and buy our family a home at watercolor.' We liked his idea but didn't want to wait for him to become a brain surgeon. Five years later we purchased our Watercolor home, we honor the king.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
We love resorts. We can do everything we want by foot or bike. It's an adventure. Especially when we sit on the front porch and hear the frogs choir at night. And by day, walk the boardwalks in front of our home and count the dragonflies. The ocean breeze comes in each night and morning. Dragonfly park next door is fun for kickball or putt of golf. As you walk inside you will feel the sense of your own seaside Cottage.
