We had a great time in Arizona. The unit made it very comfortable for the 7 of us, plenty of room and the unit is furnished with all the amenities we needed. Sandy was great with local assistance and information on the area and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. The only downside was limited cell service and no washer and dryer. Otherwise one of our better vacations.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Cell service is good for guests using AT&T or T-Mobile - even 3G & 4G coverage. Verizon not so good and other cell carriers not good. The natural beauty of the cliffs, buttes, canyons, and mountains that makes this area like no other in the USA also hinders cell coverage and wireless internet service in some parts of Lake Powell country. Washer & Dryer coming as soon as plumber is available. Laundromats are located in the city of Page AZ there is a clothesline outside to hang wet towels. Glad we were able to help when your Hertz rental car had multiple flats and you got stranded at Toad Stools trail head. We try to help guests as much as possible, knowing you are a long way from home. Thanks for staying with us!

We had a wonderful time at Lake Powell and a large part of it had to do with coming back to the peace and tranquility of this perfect vacation home. Sandy, the owner, went out of her way to help us in every way possible. The house is perfect for large groups and has everything you could possibly need. Sandy also pointed out some local attractions that made our stay all the more memorable. We had friends from Italy with us and they were so impressed with the accommodations. We will be back.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We were lucky enough to be the first renters here. And I like to write reviews, so here goes. Pros and cons: 1. Size: Great for a large family or even two. We had 7 people here, my wife and I and our 5 kids. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax after a great and exhausting day on the lake. 2. Comfort: Comfortable beds, lots of ceiling fans, a big flat screen TV. Comfy couches and even the kitchen chairs were pretty cozy. Nice bedding and plenty of pillows etc. 3. All the conveniences of home: Lots of kitchen utensils, pots, pans, brand new oven, range, fridge, sink, faucets etc. Double vanities in the bathrooms which was excellent trying to get all of us ready at once. And get this, they provide high quality, name brand paper products, paper towels, Kleenex and most importantly, toilet paper! I know it sounds small, but come on, who wants to wipe with 12 grit sand paper. 4. Location: If there is one place that this property falls a little short it is location. This property is located about a 10 minute drive to Wahweep and maybe 20 minutes to Page. We didn't mind this a whole lot because we felt like the owners more than made up for it with value for the money spent. Looking at locations closer we felt like there wasn't nearly the bang for the buck. 5. Customer service: Excellent. Our car broke down before we left. They stayed up and met us at 11pm to make sure we found the place. We needed lighter fluid. I texted to ask where some was, she said, I will be right there. Great people! All in all, we plan to go back. We had a blast on the lake and fun family time watching movies and cooking great meals at the house. We can't complain a bit. Thank you for the great stay and great memories.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

This home was suprisingly nice. It has been completely refurbished and is very comfortable. It is only minutes from Lake Powell and it was great after a day on the lake to have a place to come back to where we could relax. Sandy was great and checked with us to make sure everything was okay. I would recommend this property to anyone and hope to be able to use it in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Antelope Canyon
"Upper Antelope Canyon. To get there, drive towards Antelope Point Marina on Highway 98, but turn right to Antelope Canyon concession instead of left to Marina. Approximately $30 per person. Best time to go is when sun is highest in sky, so the sun rays filter thru the top of the slot. Do NOT go when there is any chance of flash flooding!"
