About: Our names are Rex & Lisa Russom. We live in Jackson, Tn. We are hard working, tax paying, small business owners who love to hike in the Smoky Mountains. We are in our early 50's. We love animals. We have done many hikes in the Smoky Mountains. Some of our favorites are Ramsey Cascades, Hen Wallow Falls, Rainbow Falls, Grotto Falls, the Chimneys and Alum Cave Trail on Mount LeConte. We also love zip-lining. Rex likes computers and worked in the supermarket industry for a long time. Lisa is very active at Church, worked as a Medical Technologist and owned a women's fitness center for many years. We now work together in our own business.
Why Other Gatlinburg Properties: We looked at so many different properties in the Smoky Mountain area and when we saw 'Aiden's Escape', we were absolutely in love and knew that this was our Smoky Mountain home.(Even our Realtor's jaw dropped) We just could not believe how beautiful this property was. It adjoins a sister property, Emma's Place. Please check it out also. We know mountain views are nice, but when you see the private setting and the stream that surrounds the property, we think that you will feel the same way about 'Aiden's Escape' that we did. The property is surrounded by Rhododendrum and the sounds of the stream are so peaceful. You will truly see God's hand in the creation of this beautiful place in the Great Smoky Mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge: The beautiful stream has to be the most special feature of 'Aiden's Escape', but the gigantic logs that this lodge is made from are huge. Something you can't appreciate until you see the logs in person. The location is also great, close enough to everything you will want to do in the Smoky's, but just far enough to give you the peaceful and quiet vacation you and your family deserve.
