A spectacular oceanfront vacation home located in the Southern Gulf Islands. Situated high on a southwest facing bluff with panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding islands. The perfect retreat for visitors seeking the warmth and peacefulness of beautiful Pender Island. Suitable for small groups, families or a romantic weekend getaway for two.
Nestled in a forest of majestic cedars, this beautiful location is abundant with wildlife -- deer, bald eagles, herons, sea lions, otter, orca whales and seabirds. The waters are perfect for canoeing or kayaking and you will watch passing boats and marine life from the deck. The Orca whales are a common sight to see passing right in front of the house.
Architecturally designed 2400 square foot home was built to maximize the breathtaking views from all the major rooms and features a huge ocean side sundeck that runs the length of the upper level of the house. With a south western exposure, the deck is a great place for soaking up the sun and dining outdoors. There is also a sundeck off the lower level bedroom where you can relax with your morning coffee.
The house features a spacious sun-filled open plan living room, dining room and kitchen area and is equipped with comfortable furniture in the living room along with a TV, stereo, CD player and DVD player and a dining table that seats up to eight. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, and for your convenience, a washer and dryer. High speed wireless internet is available. In the lower level games room there is a pool table and dart board as well as a TV and DVD player. Enjoy this home's unique, west coast style featuring wood beamed ceilings and dramatic floor to ceiling rock faced wood burning fireplace. In the winter months, a cozy fire and a good book will provide welcome relaxation while you watch the ever changing maritime scenery.
There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Comfortably accommodating eight people with one queen bed, two double beds and two twin beds. All beds have duvets, towels and linens are provided.
Even the cook won't object to preparing meals as the view from the kitchen is superb. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you would need - refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, hand mixer, electric can opener, toaster and plates and cutlery to serve eight. There is a gas barbeque on the deck and patio table, chairs and loungers.
Pender Island offers something for everyone, so whatever your pleasure, you will find it all staying at this house where you will take home fond memories that will last for a lifetime.

We have enjoyed this property for our vacation for several years. The home is very comfortable and well equipped. Views are stunning and Orca Whales swim past often. Relax and watch the ocean views and beautiful sunsets on the large deck. Restaurants are a few minutes away but you will want to enjoy BBQ ing on the deck and never missing that view like we do.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The home and location far exceeded our expectations , it was a stormy weekend but the accommadations, the south west view and wood stove made for an incredibly cozy ,warm , intimate stay!! I would recommend this very private setting to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing weeekend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

This vacation home within close proximity of Swartz Bay, Vancouver Island, was perfect for our 3-generation, 6 adults, family vacation. Spacious, well appointed, and the amazing views from the deck make it ideal for daydreaming hours and hours away. The games room is a great feature as well. Clean, well maintained, self-contained, close to everything, The pod of resident orcas passing through on December 28 was a wonderful treat! We would recommend this property without hesitation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Our family of 5 stayed at this property for two weeks in the summertime and had a fabulous time. The view is unbelivable and really did not ever want to leave the deck! We were able to see lots of wildlife as well. The house itself was plenty big for our family and had everything that we would need to enjoy our stay. The kids loved the pool table and dart board and it was great to keep them busy while my husband and I enjoyed the veiw from the deck. The bathroom was amazing and loved the shower and tub with an spectacular ocean view as well. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked. I would fully reccomend staying here and hope that we can again in the very near future. We have been going to Pender Island for 7 years and this is the best place we have ever stayed at.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a beautiful home! The ocean view is spectacular, the house is modern and well-maintained, it's close to the disc golf course and other important amenities. There were 5 of us staying there and we all had to have a turn in the big bathtub which also has its own ocean view... absolutely stunning. The kitchen is also very well stocked and for once I was able so sleep well in a bed that's not my own. Overall I can't say enough about how lovely our time was on Pender and the house played a large part in that.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
