New Suffolk cottage description
We are one of the earliest homes in the picture perfect hamlet of New Suffolk. Built in 1883, the Whitecap has been host to countless families who have spent 'the best summers of their lives' as the house & cottage (which was the original carriage house on the property) have been a boarding house since the early 1900's. We have just recently completed an extensive renovation of the entire property including the 1500 sq ft cottage which is now a gorgeous four bedroom, (1 Queen, 2 full sized beds, 2 twin beds), two bath home with open concept living room, dining room with seating for 8, fully equipped kitchen with a butcher block island, WiFi, cable, DVD, stereo with iPod dock, 40' LCD TV, washer & dryer, central a/c & heat, gas grill, cedar picnic table. We provide all your linens and bath towels. Leave your car and walk just one short block to enjoy the serenity of the most beautiful beach on the north fork's peconic bay overlooking Robins Island to the south & Nassau Point due east. Walk to nearby Legends for great food, cocktails or to watch the game. Kayak, stand up paddle board, swim, run, bike, wine tasting, weddings...you can do it all!! We are family friendly...but sorry no pets please. . Plenty of room for bike & kayak storage! Looking forward to hearing from you soon! We are available for rent spring, summer & the fall.
