- Situated 5 miles south of beautiful Corvallis, it is a mere 10 minute drive to all that Corvallis has to offer. Downtown Corvallis offers boutique shopping, as well as many fine eateries and micro breweries. Oregon State University is one mile past downtown, and this is a perfect place for the family to stay during visits to your student, or during football season when lodging is extremely hard to find. If hiking and mountain biking are more your style, you are a 15 minute drive to McDonald forest land, offering many trails for hikers and bikers alike. Beyond that you are 40 minutes to Mary's Peak, the highest point in the Coast range, and about 1 hour from Newport on the Coast, an easy day trip. If you wish to explore the Willamette River, Peak Sports in downtown Corvallis will gladly outfit you with a canoe or kayak rental. You can put in just down the road from the cabin at the Peoria boat ramp and float right to the back yard. If you haven't gotten you fill you can continue floating right into downtown Corvallis and take out at Michael's Landing, where you will find that you can enjoy a meal right on the river at Terminus....moreless

Great Cabin on the River
Great Cabin on the River
Used this cabin as a meeting place for Wisconsin-Oregon State football game. Place was great, not far from stadium, pretty and cozy. Unfortunately, the game didn't go as plan. Nate (the manager) was very easy to deal with. You're a 5-10 minute drive to Corvalis - much nicer and more affordable than any area hotel.

What a wonderful place! I plan on going back for more R&R. So many things to watch and the sunsets are out of this world.

Beautiful home, Gorgeous views!
Beautiful home, Gorgeous views!
When my fiancé and I pulled into the driveway of this house our jaws dropped. It is set perfectly on the the river with amazing views and the house is just beautiful. There is a ton of room outdoors to have plenty of fun. The interior of the house is just as amazing, the kitchen had everything you would need to cook and entertain, amazing fireplace and a picture window looking out over the river. The bathrooms were well stocked and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed up so late playing board games that were provided and enjoying the awesome living room. The best part was it was so close to home for us and even closer to corvallis but it felt like you were so far away from everything. I can't wait to go back!!

This home is exactly that, amazing!!! My family and I had such a wonderful time on our recent visit. The house has everything you need, the beds are so comfortable, it is very clean and the views of the river as well as the expansive lawn area to relax and play in is fantastic. After a full day of playing you can relax in the jetted tub or play games with the family like we did by the beautiful stone fireplace. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wanted to get away in comfort and style.

About: This log home is the culmination of a dream and a vision of my husband and myself. It was the ultimate labor of love, as my husband hauled all of the logs used in the construction of this home from Montana. I live not to far from the home, and many have asked why we would build a vacation home so close to our residence. It is because we love the area, and if it were any further away, it would be that much harder to enjoy it.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
3 acres right on the Willamette river is the perfect size for everything from small weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, or just a small family gathering.
