Penury Hall South is the perfect house for a warm weather beach getaway. Located on the edge of the settlement the house is hidden away in a grove of mature trees. The main living area is situated on the second floor and the house is orientated to catch the breeze and keep the house cool. There is air conditioning for oppressively hot days, but remember you are coming to enjoy the warmth!
The house was designed to fit in on the Cay. It is not too big, the unfinished framing allows for shells, beach glass and eclectic beach finds to be displayed around the interior as well as allowing for lots of books.
Guana Cay has some of the finest beaches (seven miles of them) in the world. Boat rentals (and docks to tie up to), fishing guides, dive shop, bike and golf cart rentals are all within walking distance. Restaurants include Pirates Cove, Nippers (the quintessential Beach Bar), and Grabbers, offer variety you will enjoy.
We live in our home for four months a year. Therefore it is much more than just a rental cottage, it is designed to be lived in. The roof top deck affords great views of the ocean and Sea of Abaco, while the main deck offers privacy. The furnishings are comfortable and casual and provide a great place to sit back and relax with a good book.
