5js Beach House at Devil's Punchbowl Two Beaches!
- Minimum stay:N/A

- Pets allowed:No
- Wheel chair accessible:No
The 5js beach house is an incredible private home in the perfect coastal location. You will enjoy your most unforgettable vacation in Oregon's best whale watching area. We have seen the baleen of cow whales feeding their young just yards away from us!
The 5js is your nautical getaway and is completely equipped with all the conveniences of home and more for a great vacation.
Inside the 5js there are beach views throughout the house, and it completely takes on a ship's theme lovely dark cedar ship lapped siding. It has a 54'ship's wheel and two lofts, one accessed via the ship ladder. There is a queen bed in the Captain's Quarters with a vaulted ceiling, and a full bed in the Quarter deck loft. Access the ship’s ladder and you will be in the Crow's Nest loft with one full and twin bed.
This cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances & solid granite counter tops. The 5js features high end photos of the ocean's magnificence, and original art work from known artists.
We have a number of high end classic, pirate games, and clay poker chips for family fun. We also have adapters for each type of game console ready to plug and play. A new HDTV offers a great selection of channels and we have numbered DVD's on hand for you to enjoy.
Lounge on the full deck out back and BBQ a ocean buffet and then chill out on the Adirondack chairs while the ocean slows down time for you.
Or forget cooking and walk over to famous Mo's Chowder House for the best clam or fish sandwich that you have ever had. After lunch walk steps to the amazing Devil's punchbowl. And then do we explore the tidepools or go back to the beach? But wait, up above the cliffs is Cape foulweather....so much to do you'll wish you never left.
But most important is that you will be staying at the most charming home on the Oregon Coast, and in the very best location that has a long, long sandy walking beach, with a view of the Yaquina Head lighthouse, and a Marine Garden's beach with tide pools and rocky cliffs right there, where sea lions often come to bask, and where Sea Gull Rock and Otter Rock emerge above the water in the distance. You'll love nothing like it, ever again!

We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years or so. The owners are always interested in how the house looks and if it needs anything. The house is located close enough to Newport and Depoe Bay to pick up supplies but is in a quiet park-like area away from the hubbub of town. It is within walking distance of the beach (and the ocean is very visible from the house), but the house is situated back just far enough to be protected from the direct beach winds. We like that the house has everything we need when we get there (including kitchen ware, etc...), but we feel like it is our house for the 3 or 4 days we are there.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We hand picked this beach home as we traveled all along the best Oregon beaches. We loved it's historical flavor and appeal, the dark natural woods and it's original design.
