LOCATION
Clermont is known as the "Gem of the Hills" by the locals and is the largest city in south Lake County. It is noted for its natural rolling hills, which is unusual for central Florida.
It is the crossroads of Florida, located at the intersection of State Road 50, which runs east and west across the State and U.S. Highway 27, which runs north and south through the center of the state.
The Clermont area is one of the hottest growing communities attracting big retail names like Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart and Kohls as well as many small establishments. This makes Clermont a great choice, with a variety of seasonal events that go on year round, you are sure to find plenty of family activities to keep busy.
