  Wow! We had such a great time at this property on our honeymoon! The listing description accurately describes the location and place! we couldn't of had a better experience! It was very private! We loved the pool, the rancho, being able to cook your own food on vacation is awesome, especially with the produce and meat being so fresh! The fruit basket that was provided upon arriving was awesome! The fresh cut flowers on the coffee tables were fabulous!! THe caretakers were great, laundry was always done and most days the pool and yard work was done before we got up! Neil was fantastic with booking our water rafting, zipline and surfing experiences. He also booked a romantic dinner. The scenery was absoltely beautiful! The trees, flowers and wildlife were amazing on the property. The monkeys added the finishing touches! Leecho the caretaker would also cut up a coconut for us to sip on! Uvita was so close to grab groceries if needed and most days we would head to Dominical for dessert. We would highly recommend this place to friends and family!!!!

  We had the pleasure of staying at La Libelula over Easter week 3/23-3/30/2013. It was so much more amazing than we ever expected. First off the grounds were BEAUTIFUL!!!! The house was large and very well layed out for a large group. Very large bedrooms and lots of space over all. Neil the manager and the Caretakers were very accommodating and more than met our needs. We definitely plan on visiting next year and staying here all over again. We had 6 adults and 2 teenagers 14 and 18. Everyone loved the property and especially the end of the day hanging out in the pool and Ranchero. Uvita, Costa Rica and La Libelula are truly a magical place. Can't wait to go back. Oh and did I mention the monkeys. The monkeys were so entertaining every day. We have thousands of pictures to prove it.

  We were a group of 7 adults and loved our stay at the villa. The bedrooms with ensuites are large and very private. The pool and entire outside area is fabulous...extremely well maintained and even more beautiful than the photos. It was like staying in our own resort with the cleaning services daily and amazing surroundings. The property is very close to the grocery store in Uvita ( 5 minute car ride) but feels secluded as you see no other homes. The location is perfect for exploring the area. We would highly recommend the property.

  Yes, it looks as good as the photos. The villa has the biggest private pool I've ever seen. The kids loved the waterfall feature. View was fab. House beautiful and tidied daily. Dirty clothes just disappeared and reappeared clean the same day. You can also have your dinner cooked for you at a very reasonable rate. Neil's recommendations for day trips and adventures were excellent - fishing, snorkeling, mangroves, horse-riding, waterfall, and on and on...we saw so many different species of monkey, fish, bird and reptile that we started to think we were naturalists or explorers or something. This included toucans and about a hundred different frogs and toads in the back yard. We totally loved the deserted beach at the Whale's Tail - went there 4 or 5 times in one week. Several local restaurants were very good, too - kids thought the smoothie bar in the village was the bee's knees. Highly recommended!

  We stayed in La Libelula, New Wear week, it was great, the people that work there are very good people very attentive, and helpfull. The house is exactly as it is described, I think that an air conditioner in the TV room will be great also satellite tv.The kitchen is beautiful and well equipeted, also the BBQ area.They need a fan in the dining area, because is very hot. The pool is great.We have a wonderfull time, Thank you

  My husband, two daughters and son had a great vacation at this home, we were looking for a relaxing but adventurous week and got it all. This home is very comfortable and spacious the pool, hot tub and outside areas are amazing. It really makes the place with outdoor kitchen in the rancho we spent hours here cooking on the BBQ eating, drinking and having fun playing with the kids. It’s a real bonus to have the housekeeper and her husband on site to help out if needed and they do a great job keeping the house and grounds well maintained and at the same time not invading our privacy. The house is very close to Uvita which has good stores so it was easy just pick up anything we needed. There is incredible nature and wildlife everywhere just in the garden we saw white faced monkeys a sloth and many different types of birds including regular visits from Toucans and Tucanets. We have been to other areas of Costa Rica before but this area is by far the best the beaches and waterfalls are really impressive and there are a huge amount of activities close by to cater for everyone in the family. We all really enjoyed the horse ride to the Nauyaca waterfall, rafting and zip ling. All the activities the operators were friendly and professional, we wanted to do many more adventures but ran out of time. It was great to end the day around the pool watching the incredible sunsets eating BBQ and talking about our day of fun. We will be back and will recommend La Libelula to our friends it is great for a family vacation. Thanks everyone for a memorable vacation!!!
