Historic 1905 house on Main St, Vineyard Haven, 3 houses from the Library, a 7 minute walk from the ferry.
5 bedrooms, sleeps 10 plus pack n play for a baby plus a pull-out sofa. New kitchen in 2012.
2 full baths, 2 half baths
WIFI and cable TV included.
Air conditioning being installed in the second floor bedrooms in April 2013. We are told it will be ready for summer rentals.
No need for a car reservation! Owner’s Jeep Grand Cherokee is available for use.

Backyard views: terrace and lawn with large garden for family activities and separate garage
First floor: Living room with four couches, sun porch with flat screen TV, dining room, 2012 fully equipped kitchen, laundry and there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a twin bed and a private half bath.
Second floor: Four bedrooms, #1 the master bedroom with a King Size bed, new mattress set and private bath, #2 with a queen size bed, new memory foam mattress set, #3 and #4, each with 2 twin beds. Shared bath for the children’s bedrooms.
There is also a pull-out sofa with double bed mattress/futon in the living room.
The dining room seats 8 -10 people. The kitchen was new in 2012 and includes a microwave, coffeemaker, juicer, cooking equipment, lobster pot, toaster etc.
We also have baby equipment (pack n' play, high chair, booster seat, stroller, kids picnic table, Cannondale bike trailer which seats 2 little ones, gates for the stairs, and toys).

Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: We bought Fairtide in 2011 as a family gathering place: grandparents, children, grandchildren. We have been coming to the Vineyard since 1946, so it already felt like home to us.
Why the Owner Chose Vineyard Haven:
It works because everyone in the family loves to come to the Vineyard. We have always loved historic houses, and we feel this house has great presence and lots of seating areas for us to chat without being squashed into one small living room.
