Everything you’re looking for can be found in this beautifully decorated, four-bedroom, three-bath home that can sleep 8…..and at an affordable price. Located in the recently developed Tierra Contenta neighborhood, Casa Alegre has magnificent views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is on an arroyo, providing natural greenery and privacy. The décor is strictly Santa Fe style, with many pieces from Mexico, as well as an eclectic mix of furnishings and accessories, giving an international flavor.
Casa Alegre has a king master suite upstairs with balcony and views all around. The master bath provides separate shower and tub. There are two queen bedrooms, one upstairs, and one downstairs on the main living level. The fourth bedroom (also upstairs) has a trundle bed that can be made into two twins or the room could serve as an office. There is internet hookup at the desk in this room (or there is Wireless), which also has a deck with a beautiful view to the west. There is a full bath upstairs which serves two bedrooms.
The downstairs is fully tiled and accented with colorful area rugs. The open living space is light and bright, highlighted by the mountain view. The living room has comfortable seating, a gas kiva fireplace, and a complete satellite TV/Stereo System with surround sound. The entire house is wired for sound. The dining table can seat eight. There is also a dinette/game room off the kitchen. The kitchen is fully-equipped for all your cooking and dining-in needs. There is also a full bath on the living level.
There is a patio off the living/dining room providing outside dining and a gas grill. It looks to the east with a view of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. There is also an enclosed yard should you happen to bring your dog.
Situated near the public Santa Fe Golf Course, right off Airport Road, the location puts you only two miles from the Santa Fe Place Mall and Albertsons, and three miles from the Chavez Center where there is an Olympic sized indoor pool, ice rink, and workout facilities. You are within a mile of the 599 By-Pass (south to Albuquerque, north to Taos). The Santa Fe Community College is within easy driving distance. There is a bus stop within a few blocks which can take you all over Santa Fe. All this is only a 15 minute drive from the downtown Plaza.
