My husband and I were planning an anniversary getaway and found this lovely cottage home right between Stanley Bridge and Cavendish. The home is very well kept and the view from the sitting room that over looked New London bay was so wonderful. We did travel late in the season so much was closed or closing down when we arrived, but we enjoyed the QUIET! Just seagulls calls, no car or neighbor noise. They have a huge hottub on the front deck and I enjoyed myself there in the evening. The air was turning cool in the evenings but the hot water in the tub made the night very relaxing. The bedrooms were furnished nicely and our bed was really comfortable. The only thing I would do different would be put up blinds in the master bedroom ( the sunlight came in at 6:30 /am through the white curtains and reflected in the white room and woke us up really early.) We love to sleep in when we are on vacation. Otherwise everything else went smoothly. We met the caretaker and he was very nice and helpful. This is a lovely spot and I would return here again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Me, my brother and my parents stayed at this wonderful cottage for a week n July. This was our first time to Prince Edward Island and i assure you it won't be the last. The cottage itself had everything we need and more, the best part was sitting outside after a day of sightseeing and enjoying the magnificent views of New London Bay. I would highly reccommend Carr's Oyster Bar which is visible across the bay where the cottage is situated. From visiting Anne of Green Gables Museum to lying on the beach and enjoying the cool waters Prince Edward Island really does have something for everyone. Sarah was extremly helpful in the booking process and any questions we had she was there to answer them. This cottage is a jewel tucked away inside Prince Edward Island, it's location to Cavendish and Charlottetown make it an excellent choice!!!Did you find this review helpful? Just want to thank you for an amazing vacation at your house in PEI. We just loved it! The house and view was amazing and we were so lucky to have great weather. Loved the hot tub at night to relax in and we ate at so many great restaurants-Carr’s, New Glasgow Lobster supper, Sutherlands etc… The Housekeepers-Garner and Debbie were so nice and Debbie stopped by to see how we were doing and if everything was ok which I thought was very nice of her. We will definitely return and can’t wait to our next visit! Thanks again Jennifer & GordDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

The most beautiful cottage I have ever been to! Spent a week at Sarah and Jeff's property and hope it will not be my last. The whole cottage is bright and airy with amazing views of the water. Only minutes from Green Gables and the Village of Avonlea which is a plus for any tourist to the Island. The parking pass to the National Parks was a nice bonus but we chose to rent bikes and bike to the beach instead. Would reccomend St. Ann's Lobster Suppers (in a church basement) and Carr's was a treat as well. Sarah and Jeff were very helpful and had a lot of great suggestions for activities to do. Thanks for suggesting we go deep-sea fishing, we ate like kings and queens!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My husband was pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the cottage since I did the booking with Sarah and he hadn't seen any pics. With a beautiful, central location, this well-maintained , spacious cottage is a perfect choice for a couple or a family. Wonderful restaurants a short jaunt away (and Carr's across the bay highly recommended) and tons of activities to choose from, we wouldn't hesitate to return. Having the park pass was a nice bonus and greatly appreciated. The hot tub was a highlight and a wonderful way to end off each evening. The owners and the caretakers are terrific and any questions or needs we had were responded to quickly.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This place is fantastic! The location is perfect, just minutes to Cavendish Beach, Anne of Green Gables attractions, etc. Our family of 4 including two young children stayed here in early June and we're already planning another stay here soon. This vacation home has everything you need, every amenity you can think of. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable and the cozy finished basement gave our kids their own retreat/play area. Our kids had lots of room to roam around the spacious property and we definitely made use of the hot tub. Jeff & Sarah were very helpful with helping us plan our stay. We have rented several places over the years for vacations and we certainly would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
