Kelowna Vacation Home
Kelowna Vacation Home
The perfect home for our family to stay as well as entertain a few guests in town for a family 60th anniversary. Home had absolutely everything we needed and the owners were most accommodating and friendly! Will definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity and would recommend doing so to anyone who might be looking for a vacation home for a short stay.

Owner response: thankyou for your kind review; I must say though that you are most thoughtful and caring people, I would hardly have known that there was a whole family staying in the house. Thanks also for the bouquet of flowers Janet, it was very kind of you. We enjoyed your visit here, and will welcome you again should you return to Kelowna for a vacation. I am pleased that our property was all that you expected; we do our very best to make people comfortable during their stay. thanks again Jo
We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed for the week that we were there. There was so much space inside and outside to enjoy and relax. Jo was so helpful and met us upon our arrival. We can't wait to come back again!

Owner response: thanks to Sabrina and her family; they left the house in great shape and were so helpful too. They brought all of the laundry upstairs, and even started the washing of towels! Not necessary but very thoughtful. They were surprised at the level of supplies, and appliances in the kitchen. We try to make everybody as comfortable as possible, and when we say home away we really mean it. You and your family are welcome back anytime. I was really impressed by the distance your aged grandmother was willing to travel to attend a family function. Hope I can do as well as I age. thanks again for the great review.
Great house very well set up with everything you would need to enjoy your stay, Jo and Ken are very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with! Stayed for a Golf get away and it comfortably fit 4 adults. Easy to find, not to far from downtown or the lake.

A perfect home base for exploring the Okanagan!
A perfect home base for exploring the Okanagan!
This house has a lot to offer. For starters it was the most well supplied rental we've ever stayed at. Every little thing has been thought of and is abundantly stocked. It is also the most nicely decorated house rental we've seen. No generic warehouse furniture here and plenty of personal touches. And the themed bedrooms are a treat. Not just the master either, which is sometimes the case. Each bedroom has been paid special attention. Although, that said, the master bath is incredible. Our group found we spent most of our time in the upstairs common area which is very open and spacious and just lends itself to sitting around the kitchen counter or lounging out on the deck or sharing the comfy wrap-around couch. Even though the similar area downstairs was equally nice, we just never used it much. I could see if you had younger people along though, that the two areas might be very handy to have. We knew going in that the house was in a suburban setting with no lake close by which was fine with us. There's still a nice view with pleasant sunsets on the deck and the beaches of Kelowna are only a short drive away. In fact, this house was a great base of operations for us. Easy to get to anywhere from here and we found using nearby Springfield Road a more relaxing route. So convenient to everything the Okanagan has to offer. Especially golf of course. The more serious golfers in our party enjoyed playing nearby Tower Ranch in addition to Black Mountain. I especially enjoyed the "Back 9 And Breakfast" special at the latter. Black Mountain was a really interesting course, not too busy, and the personnel there were extremely welcoming and friendly. And of course speaking of welcoming an friendly, I would be remiss if I did not mention Jo, who was terrific to work with and responsive to whatever you might need. Knowing one of us was suffering back pain when we checked in, for example, she phoned later to recommend a chiropractor. She went out of her way to make sure that our stay in her house was flawless. Which it was. The only caveat I feel obliged to mention is that we were a group of seniors who tried very hard to respect the space and its contents which were clearly a cut above the norm. I don't think it would be a suitable rental for anyone who's not prepared to do the same. This is a long way from a Super 8 room. It was a special place to stay. We loved it. You will too.

Owner response: We really enjoyed this group of seniors from Alberta & Saskatchewan, they cared for our home as though it was their own. I enjoyed the sun flowers, it was very thoughtful, my thanks to you all., you folks will be welcome back any time. thanks for the great review. It is our aim to make your stay as comfortable and uncomplicated as possible when you visit this beautiful Okanagan area. My husband was called away on an emergency for a whole month and could not be on hand to help with the house cleaning and laundry. All of our guests in August, made an extra effort to be helpful, and it was really, really, appreciated. thank you everyone.
A really nice house with everything you would ever need. We had a girls weekend with lots of cooking and this house has a fabulous kitchen. The owners have thought of everything. Only thing we needed and couldn't find was a basting brush for our b.b.q pesto veggie kabobs. Lots of space and 4 beautifully decorated bedrooms and very comfy beds. I had the best sleeps. The owner Joanne was extremely nice, thoughtful and will organized. She has done a lovely job of decorating and made us feel very welcome.

I will do something about a basting brush thanks for letting me know, thought I had one in the kitchen, ah well, there is always some little thing which gets over looked. thanks for the great review, you are welcome back any time... jo

Exactly as described. A very clean and luxurious home that was perfect for our group of 4 adult couples on a Golf and Wine getaway. Each couple had their own queen bedroom. The master was awesome. All the amenities were perfect and the additional touches were just icing on the cake. Quite location yet near to anything you might need. Would definitely stay here again. The owners were very helpful. Christina Lake Golf Group

Owner response: thanks for the great review and rating; The Christina Lake golf group, are also to be commended for leaving the house in such great shape! They were terrific people, they even stripped the beds for us, and left the kitchen clean. We can't do enough for people who respect our lovely home, and they are certainly welcome back any time. Perfect for Family Getaway
Perfect for Family Getaway
We were a family of seven adults visiting Kelowna for a family function and couldn't have asked for a better rental to suit our needs. The spacious, modern, 4 bedroom home was spotless, well appointed with all kitchen staples and beautifully decorated with Jo's artistic flair. The Black Mountain convenient location is only a few minutes to all amenities like shopping and restaurants as well as being only a couple of blocks to the beautiful Black Mountain Golf Course where we golfed twice. Jo and Ken were easy and an absolute delight to deal with and gave much thought to ensuring we were comfortable and well looked after. We have rented vacation properties in Vancouver and Phoenix and this home was one of the best! Thank you Jo and Ken!

Owner response: thanks to Shannon and family for those very kind comments; we do our very best to make sure that our guests are comfortable and have all of the amenities, in the home to make their stay truly a "home away from Home" We are new to vacation renting, and the property is still a work in progress; our guests have been very understanding about the landscaping work, and the lack of a hot tub at the moment; it's all on our to do list. We also must thank Shannon & family for taking such good care of our home. We thought maybe they didn't stay at the house it was so clean when we arrived to check out the house. It certainly made the check in of the next guest group a day later, so much easier. thanks so much also for the wonderful rating. You are welcome back any time. Jo and Ken
Incredible Experience in Kelowna!
Incredible Experience in Kelowna!
My husband and I have been "frequent flyers" at vacation homes since our girls were babies. For my daughter's university graduation celebration in Kelowna, we found this beautiful home and I can't tell you how much this lovely oasis left all the others in the dust. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. The owners had outfitted the kitchen with all the basic necessities. They even left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! From the moment you walk in the door, you are surrounded by luxury. Everywhere you turn there is a special touch, from the artful accessories to the carefully folded robes in the master bedroom. If your dream vacation is a luxurious home with every amenity you could ever wish for, a gorgeous outdoor patio, five star bed and bathrooms and lots of space to entertain in, I would recommend this beautiful home without reservation!
