Our family recently spent the weekend in this beautiful home while attending a wedding near Lynchburg. The only regret is that we could not stay longer! The furnishings, appliances, and electronics are top quality and the decor complete. This would be a great location for an extended family gathering. There are several areas for folks to congregate- and also places to find a quiet corner. The master suite with its huge bathroom (including a jacuzzi tub and walk in shower) is lovely. And although it is not stated, there is also a jacuzzi soaking tub in the shared bath on the lower level. Heather was very helpful in answering questions promptly and making the reservation. We would definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return ourselves!

Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location
Beautiful Cabin in a Great Location
We recently stayed at this beautiful log cabin for a friends' getaway weekend, and it could not have been more perfect. The pictures definitely do not do this place justice, as it is so much bigger and nicer than you can imagine. The kids all had a blast playing video games (there are SIX arcade games, including old school classics like Ms. PacMan) and feeding the ducks at the pond. With the way the house is laid out, it perfectly suited all the kids sleeping in the basement since the adults liked to have fun past the kids' bedtime. As for the adults, we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen/dining area/living room were all blended into one great room so that we could hang out together while different people were cooking and enjoying cocktails. The house was spotlessly clean, with very nice bed linens and towels, which is not always the case. My husband and I had the good fortune to have the master bedroom on the main floor which was spacious and comfortable. The master bathroom was HUGE with a big soaking jacuzzi tub and a nice stand-up shower. The house is nicely located in that it seems deep in the country (we kept joking that we heard banjos) but quite close to Lynchburg, which is about a 10 minute drive away. The honest truth is that we had all planned to go into Lynchburg on the Saturday of our stay for a craft beer festival, but we loved the house too much to leave. So, just a couple of us ran to town for a grocery run, and its proximity made that very convenient. More than anything, what made our stay here so great was that the owner, Heather, was wonderfully nice and accommodating. We had a couple of special requests and lots of questions leading up to our stay, and she was not only responsive but also gracious, which made our stay that much better. We are already looking to our return trip, and thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home! We have created memories for a lifetime!

This rental home greatly exceeded all of our expections and was extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to entertain our family and friends prior to our son's wedding and everyone was amazed by how beautiful this home was. We will definately be back.

This home is absolutely beautiful! We had a family of five that stayed a week, but the house can sleep many more. The kitchen is well stocked and had all the necessities. For those that like to fish there is a stocked pond on the property (catch & release), which we all enjoyed including our dog that enjoyed the swimming. Yes, the property is dog friendly, which was important for us to bring her along. There is a wrap around deck with a swing, rocking chairs, and hot tub that was very peaceful and relaxing with great views. If you like to hike there are trails on the property as well as places all within a short distance of the area. This house is in a peaceful secluded setting, but just a short distance to grocery stores, restaurants, and activities. There are many things to do in the area. Some of the activities we enjoyed were hiking, golfing, tubing/swimming, we even tried snow boarding/ snow tubing in August (Liberty University). The Natural Chimneys was a nice visit and the Blue Ridge Mountains are breathtaking. Virginia is also filled with history/museums for the pleasure of all ages. There are so many things to do in the area, but if you decide to spend the day around the house there is plenty to do as well. We had alot of fun evenings playing in the game room and enjoying the home theater. The owners of this property are very friendly, professional and accomodating. We have rented many homes and by far this has been our favorite. We can't wait to come back! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home with us!

My family and I really enjoyed ourselves! The house is huge (we rented the entire house). We were able to grill, some of us enjoyed the hot tub and spent much quality time in the spacious kitchen. The theatre is very cozy and was perfect! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.
