  Dianne and Tommy spent a wonderful weekend at the cabin for a HS reunion down the road. The view and cabin were lovely. We became engaged by the firepit this weekend! Thanks for everything!

  Greg and Eric stayed and participated in the Six Gaps / Three Gaps bike ride. We were really impressed with the organization and the neatness of the cabin. Eric was wondering if Rebecca was single, because she's a woman after his heart with her attention to detail! Thanks for the little extras, like bananas and peanut butter. Weather looks great and we're looking forward to hours of PAIN climbing the hills around here!

  The weekend here was amazing for the Due West ARP Youth Group! We had such an amazing time! We went hiking to the Seacreek Falls and waded in the water. After that we went tubing and it was beautiful to see God's nature and wildlife. Can't thank you enough for letting our youth come to Log Heaven and letting us stay for the weekend.   My family and i wanted to make a quick getaway for the weekend before school starts for the kids.This cabin turned out to be more than expected! It was very clean and had plenty of room for our family of six.The pre programmed GPS was very helpful in finding fun hiking spots and more.To be able to just walk down to the stream and go water tubing was awesome! We had so much fun playing pool,sitting around the firepit,and just relaxing on the porch watching the deer ,chipmunk,and birds. It was very relaxing.The owner put a lot of thought into making sure that our stay was fun and comfortable. We did not want to leave.It was a great getaway,we will definitley come back and recommend this cabin to family and friends! !

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  We enjoyed our family trip and the cabin was perfect for us. We had a great time on the porch, playing pool, and caught some really nice trout, which we grilled for dinner! Thanks so much for having us.

  Don't change a thing. All we need next time is more time. The cabin is beautiful and you have made it so cozy and warm. I'm so glad --- we needed this. PS. 62 degrees when we woke up this morning!

  Just wanted to share a few of the great times we had this week. The wineries in Dahlonega were awesome. Then dinner at the Smith House was the best chicken Ive ever had! Helen was nice - a bit crowded - but the kids loved feeding the bears. I always wanted to hike the App Trail - at least I got to see Springer Mtn this time. We were thrilled to get away from the heat. The cabin is beautiful and so relaxing. Mornings were unrushed for a change. Put the electronics away. Thanks so much for a great trip and all your help planning. Well be back!

  Deer, birds, sleeping, coffee, pool table, tubing, hiking, beds, fishing, stars, books, cool nights, food, hill behind cabin, Swinging Bridge, Helton Creek Falls. Those were my favorites. I daydreamed I was an Indian. The river is awesome! Next time we need more time.

  We had a great time! Ate too much, drank too much! Haha. Tubing was a hoot - we laughed all the way to the bridge. Got some great photos at Helton Creek. Shot pool WAY too late last night, so this was the morning to sit on the porch and drink coffee. Didnt see bears - just deer and a turtle. Would like to come back when leaves change. Glad we found you - its an awesome place. Thanks so much! PS. the GPS helped!

  Had a great trip and we were reminded that winter is here! Had hail on Wednesday and flurries on Friday. We watched my favorite TV show - the Military channel, and sat and talked about the old days til late at night. Had great spaghetti dinner last night in Dahlonega. Tried to walk to the top of the hill - it was TOUGH! We will have to practice before we try that again. Thank you for a great reunion.

  The only thing missing was some men! Next time we bring some - or flag down some bikers! Pool, hiking, crazy 8's, margaritas, long nights, COFFEE. It was great.

  Came to see the sights and hike for a week. We did so many fun things and ate some great food! Meeks Park with Debby, to Bear Park in Helen, Lake Winfield Scott and a day trip to Atlanta. We had great weather the first half of the week, now its cool and windy. We dont want to go home tomorrow! We will miss this place!

  What can we say? We saw our first beaver. We caught our first fish. We watched deer in the river! The kids had a great time. The cabin was so awesome! I have never felt so peaceful. It is a gem.

  Rob and I here for a little relaxing and to celebrate my birthday! Saw lots of big waterfalls and took lots of pictures. Had bacon, eggs and grits this morning. He cooked! YUM! Then coffee on the porch. Thanks so much Rebecca.

  Our last weekend before heading north. The shower and beds were great. Maybe I'll catch you on the way back. Thanks for all your help and the shuttle. Music and shooting pool was great. Can I be your yardman? I want to stay. The porch and trees were awesome. Will miss this place. Go country! Praise God!

  What a wonderful week! Lots of great scenery and sunshine - all but one nite with lots of wind and rain! Went to the Swinging Bridge and man it was swinging! Had to pull a downed tree out of the way to get to the bridge. What fun. Ha ha. Had dinner at the Smith House - it was great. Glad someone else gets to drive these twisty country roads. I will miss this wonderful place.

  Every time I come to stay, you guys have done some fabulous work on the cabin! This time it was the flagstone patio, screened in porch and beautiful landscaping! Perfect weather - very pleasant for Georgia in July. It was fun watching the Tour de France and Lance come in 3rd. As I sit and write this, a beautiful breeze is blowing and the birds are chirping. Life is good! I love visiting here - we will be back!

  Here on the bikes with my buds from Indiana. First time but not the last! Great cabin, food, drinks and entertainment. Cannot wait to come back for a longer stay. Maybe all sunny days next time, and we can do the loop again!

  Ya, ya sisterhood! What a great weekend with my two sisters! We are having such a great time. The weather has been picture perfect - light snow falling and kissing the tree boughs, mixed with a dose of sunshine. Perfect. We have been relaxing and TALKING all night. The trip to Dahlonega was fun too. Good dinner, good movie and great sleep. Woke up to bright sunshine and blueberry pancakes! We are planning another sister week in September - cant wait to come back again. Rebecca, you have made this cabin a very cozy and inviting home for us. Thanks so much.

  As we get ready to leave this great place, a light snow is falling. So beautiful - we are taking pictures and wishing we could stay and sit by the fire. The cabin was great, we loved the furniture and the holiday decorations. Gotta go before we get snowed in! Thanks for everything.

  Here for vacation and what a great time we had. Perfect cool weather and beautiful leaves changing. We mostly relaxed, hiked a little on the AT. Went into Dahlonega and got some fudge. We love it here and are already thinking about when we can come back. We are so glad this place is here!

  So, so beautiful! The leaves are gorgeous. After sightseeing all day, we sat on the porch and played Uno! Grilled some fabulous fish! Thank you for making the cabin available to us. Great decorating.
