My family of four thought this rental was fabulous! The owners were very easy to make arrangements with and the rental property was exactly as described. The location was ideal - in a nice residential area that was still close to many great restaurants. It was a short walk to the free shuttle that runs through much of Charleston. I highly recommend this rental property.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I just returned from a terrific stay at 301 Broad in Charleston. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is a short walk to the beautiful waterfront houses and a 15-20 min walk to the bustle of historic downtown. We were traveling with our 18 mo old son and found everything we needed at the house - including laundry, comfortable kitchen, and plenty of parking. The master bedroom is spacious and has lots of light, and the living/dining areas is comfortable as well. We'll definitely consider staying here when we're next in Charleston!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

I spent a long weekend here with a couple friends and it was perfect! We used the Half Marathon as an excuse to go to Charleston and didn't want to stay in a hotel which is how we found this cute little place on Broad Street. The house had everything we needed, it was very clean, well-maintained and it made you feel like you were in Charleston. Unlike a lot of rentals I've been to in the past, the owner here provided dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. We brought our own but it was nice to see that they cared enough to provide some to get us started! We walked everywhere, King Street for shopping, Battery Park, the Market, etc. There is a little lake right across the street where people ran, walked dogs, kids, etc all day. We walked to and from the house during the day and night and didn't have any issues. It was about a 10 minute drive to Folley Beach and Sullivans Island. The owner was very nice, reserving the house was simple and checking in was a breeze. Highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

As a family group vacationing from several different places (Atlanta, Chicago, London) this was a lovely place to stay. Charleston was beautiful and we had a terrific time despite Hurricane Sandy's best efforts to ruin the weather. The home was well located with an easy walk to the historic district sights and shopping. It was clean, bright and inviting. An absolutely charming place to take a break between all the fun. I have already recommended this property to my girlfriends for a Spring trip!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great location. The walk to Meeting Street or The Battery is within 10 minutes. Staying in this location is so much more convenient than staying outside of the peninsula. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious. New appliances. I will definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed a relaxing Memorial Day weekend touring Charleston, sampling all the wonderful foods, shopping, and spending time with family. This trip was, in part, a 40th birthday present for our wonderful sister/sister-in-law, Lisa! As owners, we offered this great little townhouse for rental on VRBO from March 2008 - August 2008 before deciding to take up full-time residence here in Charleston. This year, we are once again offering our home to renters. We saved the guestbook from 2008 and have posted several of the comments to assist future potential renters. Thanks for considering our Charleston townhome. Please phone or email if you have any questions.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
