With a comfortable sleeping capacity of 14, your reunion, family vacation, or group retreat will find plenty of space for all. Located less than 15 minutes from the historic Victorian village of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, about an hour and a half from Branson, Missouri, and Silver Dollar City, and with many activities to choose from in the area, your trip will be one you will never forget!
The home is all on one level with a spacious, vaulted-ceilinged living room, dining and kitchen area allowing your entire group to gather, while the three bedrooms/two baths afford privacy. There are many digital satellite channels and premium movie channels available on the huge 61” widescreen TV; a DVD player are provided as well. Dishwasher, side-by-side refrigerator, matched dinnerware with serving pieces, butcher-block island, coffeemakers, blender, mixer, Calphalon-type pots and pans, cook top with downdraft, and self-clean oven are some of the kitchen’s many features. There is seating for all 14 in the dining area.
The master bedroom/bath area provides additional privacy with it’s own TV and satellite system. Double sinks with huge mirrors, skylight, a window with woodsy view, and a glassed-in shower complete the bath. The master area also has a large walk-in closet and ceiling fan, and coordinated bed linens on the king-size bed.
A full-size bed and walk-in closet, bright windows to a peaceful view, and coordinated bed linens complete the second bedroom.
The third bedroom is such fun as a sleep-six bunk room! Additional sleeping in the living area is provided by the daybed with trundle, and a sleeper sofa.
Laundry facilities include a washer/dryer and detergent is provided. Linens are provided, as well as your first morning’s coffee.
Skylights and large windows all around the Great Escape bring the outside in even on dreary days. Much of you time you will want to be outside, however, on the 2900 square foot deck lounging in the private 6-person hot tub, grilling on the gas grill, or just visiting on some of the plenteous deck furniture enjoying the lake view. Without moving your car you may enjoy swimming, hiking, bird-and-wildlife watching on 1.2 secluded acres.
Beaver Lake provides 28,000 acres of fun! The Great Escape is approximately 75 feet from the shore and has 174 feet of lake frontage, marina closeby. The home’s location is near the largest part of Beaver Lake, close to the dam, yet so close to Eureka Springs: a perfect location for your group! Excellent trout fishing is only 5 minutes away below Beaver Dam on the White River which is restocked with 80,000 trout annually. Guide services, located close by, can take you trout, striper, white bass, or fishing, lending you expertise.
Lake activities abound! Scuba diving provides a 20’ visibility and a new dive shop has opened 5 minutes from the home with air facilities, lessons, etc. “The Cliffs”, in the vicinity of the dam, provides picnicking, scuba diving, swimming and hiking, as well as wonderful views. Sailing, water skiing, canoeing, snorkeling also are other activities enjoyed on beautiful Beaver Lake!
Also close by are canoe trips on the White River with take-out service, as well as trips on the King’s River, and on the Buffalo National River within an hour and a half’s drive.
This area is a perfect spot for relaxing for everyone in the family! Great shopping in quaint Victorian Eureka Springs (15 minutes away), dining, night life, live theater, horseback riding, spas, golf are all nearby. Seasonal activities and special events include the War Eagle Arts & Crafts Show, Jazz Fest, Blues Fest, Antique Car Show, Christmas Homes Tour, Spring Arts Festival, the Great Passion Play, country music shows plus many more.
