Balcony views from the 4th floor unit give the spectular views of the beach without those high beach front prices. Rear views face State Park Wetlands and Cottages. Main floor has 1 bdr, 1.5 bath, bunk area and kitchen-living area with sleeper sofa. Also loft bedroom area. Unit sleeps total of 8 people comfortably. All the amenties of home including stackable washer/dryer. Complex has great pool, hot tub and poolside covered patio area. Also stainless steel grills available onsite. Great family atmosphere.

We were very happy with our condo! The owner was in contact before to our visit to ensure everything was taken care of prior to our arrival and checked in a couple times during the week to make sure everything was ok. She even asked if there were any suggestions we had to improve the experience for future guests. She was very nice and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. As for the condo, we're pretty easy to please.....we vacation in GS for the beach and wherever we stay is secondary It's a place to cook meals, sleep and keep our stuff. That being said, we still loved the place. There is a spiral staircase going to a loft bedroom area (very roomy) that the kids love. We had 3 kids with us and we had plenty of room. It has a great view of the beach and the state park dune area. One thing that's not mentioned is the view of the lake from the backside. It's beautiful in the morning with the mist and fog. You're also right next to the state park which is great to visit. If you get a rainy day, the nature center has lots of wildlife displays (snakes, baby gators, small mammals, eta) and it's only $1 per car. Bottom line is you will enjoy your stay. It's a nice clean place with an owner that wants you to enjoy your stay! We will be back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

The condo was very clean. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The walk across the road to the beach was shorter than some condos that are actually on the same side of the road as the beach. We plan to return next year.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

The condo was cute and had everything we needed except DVD players for the tvs. I found it very odd that the living room still had a VHS player considering they are obsolete now and don't sell VHS tapes anymore. My kids had brought all their favorite DVDs and were disappointed. There was also a lot of noise from the highway while sitting on the balcony. The walk to the beach was short, easy, and beautiful!! I found that part of the beach to be less crowded and very family oriented!! We were very happy with the condo overall and would recommend it!!Recommended for: Families with young children.

We had a wonderful time! The condo was spotless and so much better than the pictures show! The decor is so colorful and beach themed! The beach is just across the street.You can't hear the waves from the balcony but you can see the water! The location is great not as crowded and you can take back roads to avoid traffic at the "T". This was our first time using Vrbo and I was a little nervous but everything was fine. This was the perfect spot for our group and we would love to visit again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: We're from central Alabama, so we have grown up coming to these beautiful beaches. We are 'late middle' age, but are fun loving folks. We have 3 sons between us and 5 grandchildren, and just like us, they all love the beach!!
Why the Owner Chose Grand Beach:
Location! Location! Location!! We love the beach and came often, so we liked being close to all of the action. We had always liked the way the Grand Beach Resort condos looked, so we looked here first. After looking at a few others, we decided to go back to the first place we looked. It must have been instant love! Must have been love for the original owners too since we are only the second owners! They bought when the building was new and had never rented it. We decided it was too great a condo not to share with others!!!
