  I rented "Cottage by the Sea," for a week and just for me ! I found this clean little cottage very homey,even decorated with live plants and a perfect setting for reading, sewing and walking the beach in a quiet surrounding. The owner was available to me at any time and expressed concern for my personal needs. The amenities were very pleasing and made me feel like an honored guest. I would recommend this cottage for one person or a family.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.

  The Cottage By the Sea was a perfect little getaway for my family and I. The Cottage is very cute with necessary amenities. It is within walking distance of the beach, a store, and the bay (all about 2 blocks). the neighborhood is great for walking and the cottage itself is set apart a bit for privacy. Beautiful place and will visit again soon!

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  I recently rented this beach house the whole weekend and I can surely say; “the house is perfect to take your family or if you just want to spend a romantic weekend”. The beach is within walking distance from the house; which make it’s perfect to take a nice quite afternoon walk to the beach. The house is well equipped; you don’t need to worry about taking anything; just your family to have fun and enjoy yourself away from the busy city life. I would definitely rent this beach house again, and I would recommend this cozy house to my friends and family.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

  We had a pleasant stay at the beach house. It was very convenient to drive a short distance to the beach and park right on it. The little house was very clean and has an outdoor shower. There are two bedrooms but one bedroom is connected to the main room and has a sliding partition to enclose it. Unfortunately the partition is broken and won’t fully close. This was inconvenient for two couples sharing the house but would be fine for a family. There is no view to the bay or shore. There is a small view to the distant bay through the small kitchen window.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+.

  Owner response: There is a view to the bay on the Galveston Park side. The partition is not broken but is slightly open to keep an eye on children. We will adjust this in the future for adult only parties. There is a commode, shower, and sink downstairs. This is considered the half bath. There is also a view of the ocean from the property. We welcome your comments and will do all we can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
