Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: My name is Patrick Robinson. I was born and grew up in Tallahassee, FL, a 'flat-lander', but when I visited the North Carolina Community of Nantahala, I immediately knew I wanted to return there when I retired. My wife, Dianne, and I purchased 25 acres in 2004. Since, that time we have added 3 small log cabins to the property. When we can't be in Nantahala, we share the beauty and peace with others by renting the cabins. Dianne and I have taken many friends with us to the cabins and they always want to return, if fact they can't wait to return, even if we do not go back with them. I assure you that once you visit the area, it will call you back time and again. The privacy and seclusion is especially nice when you lead a stressful life style. For us living in Florida where the summers are hot and humid, by August we have had enough heat and it's time to visit Nantahala for that needed cooling off period. We hope you will give our cabins and the Nantahala Community a chance to give you some needed relief from life.
