We rented here for a week long honeymoon and were very pleased! Everything was beautiful and exactly as pictured. The people were incredibly nice and accomodating and we would definitely go rent again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway.

We loved living 1 mile from Canal Park. There's a handful of nice spots to eat, and the walk is pleasant. This house had plenty of spots to sleep, and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners are attentive and available when I called. I recommend this house for a family trip to Duluth.Recommended for: Families with young children.

A lovely property near canal park. Loved the wood burning fire place and the large kitchen, perfect for cooking your own meals. Plenty of sleeping spaces for large groups also. Wi-Fi access also very convenient.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Property was spotless. Kitchen is simply amazing; made me sorry we had decided to eat out so much. Next time, I'm gonna cook in there! Loft master bedroom and views are fabulous. Location was great, easy access to all the downtown Duluth attractions.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

We had an excellent time at Wade Inn. A group of 5 of us stayed for a week and it was a wonderful wintertime experience. The house is warm and has a fire place for those days you need to relax in front of the fire (the owners even had provided some firewood). There were extra room heaters just in case as well. The beds are VERY comfortable and the jet bathtub was a great hit for cold hands or feet after outdoor adventures. The lake is so close that we could go out and see it and the icey shore is really something I would recommend to be visited. We really had an amazing time! I would highly recommend this rental to others!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Wade Inn! Dave and Mary were very accomodating and easy to work with. We did alot of cooking in the kitchen and everything we needed was there! Nice, clean and cozy! This house has been by far the best house we have ever stayed in! It was spacious and nice and quiet. The kitchen was wonderful! Every appliance under the sun was available! The bathroom and whirlpool were amazing! We definitely enjoyed the peace and tranquility that Wade Inn had to offer and we will definitely be reaching out to Dave to come back in the Spring! We are a dance company from Minneapolis and were looking for a place to house 6 people. When I came across the Wade Inn I was floored at what a PERFECT location it held. So close to Canal Park, but on the other side of the bridge and very quiet. With Lake Superior just across the street and Point Park just up the road I was in heaven. We stayed for 5 weeks and comfortably slept 6 people. The place was both comfy and modern at the same time. The back porch and grill were awesome to have and we used it regularly. There are two full bathrooms and the kitchen is very sleek with two ovens and thoroughly equipped. Really, I couldn't have found a better place for our needs. Now, Dave and Mary are the icing on the cake. They are pure gold and absolutely LOVELY people. Their care and thoughtfulness made our stay complete. I feel like I have found a long term friendship in them. They are gems of people and I could rave about them all day. There is part of me that doesn't want to write a great review because I know how fast this place will book up if word gets out and then I'll have a hard time finding open times. So, I do suggest booking early if you want this place. I promise you'll love it!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
