Lights! Camera! Location! Our historic Hollywood bungalows are located in the heart of Hollywood and the gateway to the Hollywood Hills and feature all the amenities of home. Tucked away just minutes from the Hollywood sign, each bungalow is a two bedroom, one bath that comfortably sleeps four people and with the pullout sofas can accommodate up to six. The bungalows are conveniently located between all the major movie studios, attractions, venues, restaurants, sites and have quick and easy access to the Los Angeles metro and freeways.
You will be greeted with a complementary bottle of wine and chocolates along with coffee, teas and sweeteners. Enjoy our Hollywood Bungalows manual that includes everything from our favorite restaurants, hiking trails and tourist activities.
There is no reason to drive or cab it to some of our favorite spots such as Musso and Frank Grill, Hollywood’s oldest existing restaurant built one year after our bungalows in 1919, or Amoeba Music, the world’s largest independent record store.
The bungalows are just two blocks from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and three blocks from Sunset Boulevard. Take a stroll to visit Hollywood & Highland, home of the Academy Awards. While there, check out movie stars’ hand and foot prints at the famous Grauman’s Chinese Theater. For the young (and young at heart) enjoy some of Hollywood's hippest nightlife just two to three blocks away.
We're a five-minute drive to most of Hollywood's major film studios, with daily studio tours and show tapings. For a full day of fun, we are also just a five-minute drive to Universal Studios and City Walk.

I've enjoyed my stay. Apartment comfortable, clean, well located. The owner Debra is very nice and organized. Gave me tips on events in the city and mostly had a lot of patience to try to understand me since almost do not speak English. I highly recommend his apartment.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time staying at the bungalow. We appreciated the fact that Debra went out of her way to make our rental dates work. She is very organized and informed us in great detail about the bungalow and the surrounding area before our arrival which we found to be very helpful. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable. It was well stocked with plenty of kitchen tools and dishes and we had a nice supply of towels. We also liked having the washer and dryer available for our use. In January 2013, My family ( me,my husband and 3 Girls aged 21,16 and 15) stayed at this bungalow for 13 nights. Almost everything within walking distance. Walk of Fame, Chinesse Theatre, HighLand shopping centre,Red Line Metro ,Traders Joe ( my fav),Restaurants and Cafes. The bungalow is nice,clean, comfortable ,secure and fully equipped. Debra greeted us on the day we arrived and she was very helpful. We had an amazing holiday in la and will definitely come back and stay at this place again.Did you find this review helpful? Our stay in Hollywood was great and the bungalow was perfect. Clean, comfortable and convenient. It was great to have so much more space than a hotel room and the flexibility of the kitchen and other amenities provided. The Hollywood Bungalow was a fantastic place to stay. My family (including two kids, 6 and 4) stayed here over the Xmas and new year period and really enjoyed everything the place had to offer. The bungalow is extremely well set up for self sufficiency, centrally located to many attractions in the la area, clean comfortable, great parking arrangement and modernly decorated inside. Further to this, Debra attended to all of our needs, both prior during and after our stay (i.e. she posted my son's lost wallet back to australia)...we could not have asked more from her. This lovely property is exactly as beautiful as it is in the pictures. I stayed here 3 nights with my sister, mum and little brother and the two bedrooms were spacious enough for all of us (there is also a pull out sofa that you can use!). I especially loved the fact that there are a wide variety of kitchen utensils available to use and things like laundry detergent, dryer sheets and dish washing liquid are also provided. Another stand out point about renting this property is Debra herself. She is quite possibly the most organised and helpful person ever (She even sent over an information pack on what's around the area!) and it was an absolute pleasure staying at her bungalow. The location is also ideal. It is far away enough that you won't get any noise at night but it is also close enough to easily walk down Vine St, Sunset Boulevard & Hollywood Boulevard for food and entertainment. If i were to go back to la, i would not hesitate to rent this place! It's much more comfortable, affordable and convenient than a hotel would be. Staying at Debra's Hollywood Bungalow was the most perfect experience for me and my two friends. The house, which is beautifully equipped and very well looked after, as well as its lovely host, Debra made us feel at home right away. Debra was very helpful right from the start as well as throughout our stay and was showing us everything we needed to know about the Bungalow and provided us with lots of helpful advice, some of which can be found in a very detailed and informative information book written by Debra on both the Bungalow as well as on Los Angeles and the things to do and places to go there. The location of the house couldn't be any better, as it is just in walking distance to the Hollywood Blvd and the Farmer's Market and also in short driving distance to many of the places that should not be missed while being in LA (such as the Universal Studios). Although the house is pretty closely linked to freeways, it is located in a very quiet environment, so not getting enough sleep due to traffic is really not an issue. In fact relaxing is made very easy by the beautiful interior of the house as well as its front porch and BBQ hangout at the back of the bungalow. If you truly want to experience Los Angeles I would say Debra's Hollywood Bungalow is the place to go to, as it will make you feel as if you were actually living in the city. Debra was the most gracious and understanding host anyone could ask for. She was welcoming, helpful and made us feel like we were home. The accommodation was set up beautifully and the location was perfect - even for those visitors wanting to go to Disney. The bungalow was quite central to all tourist destinations. The area is safe and it was nice being able to talk to local people walking their dogs. Debra is a fantastic ambassador for LA as she was always willing to help us with getting around LA. My performing-arts daughter has always wanted to visit Hollywood and the top destinations from Debra's place were all easily walked to, or a short drive to. Our family of 4 including 2 young girls, had a fantastic time! The house was simply adorable, impeccably clean and as a mother, I felt the gated entrance & fenced small yard added the security I wanted for my girls in Hollywood. We cooked Thanksgiving Dinner in the kitchen which was well stocked, and even had beautiful serving plates for our feast! I know we will be back, as my daughter already wants to make this a birthday tradition. Thank you Debra for being flexible, responsive and truly caring. I've retned from VRBO many times and your personal services is by far the best I've ever had! Cheers from Sacramento :-)Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

Our stay was just great. Debra is close by and provides a wealth of information concerning the area ;sights and directions and places to eat. By the time we left we felt like one of the family.The cottage has all the amenities and is extremely well situated. We were able to see so much close by and walked to almost everything. We are so thankful for our stay and now , because of Debra's thematic decor I am reading about Audrey Hepburn. About the owner: Originally from San Antonio, I moved to Los Angeles in the mid 90's. I worked in production where I met my husband, Glenn. We settled into the Hollywood Hills where we are raising our children. I'm a big fan of our community and always wanted to be an emissary for those who want to learn more about where we live and what's so much fun about it. Some of the things I love most are summer nights at the Hollywood Bowl and getting an outdoor table on Hollywood Blvd. to watch the Hollywood Holiday parade right after Thanksgiving!
Why the Owner Chose Hollywood:
I live in a 1920's home in the Hollywood Hills with my husband and daughters. I was looking for a place to purchase near my home to turn into a vacation rental. I have admired this bungalow since moving to the Hollywood area. When the opportunity came to purchase this gorgeous bungalow, I new it had to be mine. I have done several upgrades since purchasing this property such as central air and heat and tankless water heater. I hope to share with you one day.
