Available MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND- our 'Pink House' located only a few steps from the Beautiful Ocean you see so close, is like a tropical dream where you OFTEN HEAR the Palm Trees gently blowing & the Waves hit the beach, then slip back to sea - YES it's like PARADISE :-)
IMAGINE: When you 1st step inside you WILL begin to smile as you scope out a great vacation House. Everything you need for happy memories: We the owners, John & Linda, have many beautiful decor changes thru out the inside of the house and outside Screened Porch & Decks we want you to see. Our spacious 2600 SQ FT house is always clean & well maintained. 5 private BRs & 5 BAs sleep 10 NO PROBLEM. Includes Washer/Dryer, Towels, Free WI-FI, Satellite TV & more.
When ready to swim you WILL BE wet soon BECAUSE our House is SO CLOSE to the Ocean you see. TO THE BEACH: Walk down our front steps & across our sidewalk. Cross over the LAZY & QUIET street. Begin walking on the cement & wood Walkway directly across from the house ( IN FACT it is only a slight/gradual dune that this walkway crosses over, as seen in Picture #3 ) KEEP WALKING. In Aprox. 60 Seconds from the house - OH YEA :-) You are ON the Beach. ( Keep reading about the house- it gets better! )
The Ocean you see is an AWESOME picture FROM THE FRONT OF OUR HOUSE's Main Floor Screened porch & left/right decks & Upstairs Master Bedroom Deck. Checkout the beautiful green grass, flowers, Palm Trees & sea grass. SUNRISE is a great time for a cup of coffee!
The Marsh you can see FROM THE REAR OF THE HOUSEs upstairs Master Bedroom's Sitting area and the back decks will also take your breath. SUN SET is a great time for a drink of your choice.
INCLUDED WHEN YOU RENT is the Harbor Island Swim & Racquet Club, located just a short walk from our house. Includes an Olympic Size Pool; Small Retail Store: Gift's, Snack's, Necessity Groceries. Also a fitness Room, Weight Room, Golf Chipping Yard, tennis, volleyball, basketball, children's pool, playground & more.
Around Harbor Island's Rookeries and beach you see terns, pelicans, egrets, herons, seagulls, cranes, other birds & wildlife- (recently saw Momma & baby alligators- safely contained in the Rookery Lagoon). On the peaceful 2 1/2 mile beach you'll see horseshoe crabs, watch dolphins play & Shrimp Boats as they slowly pass. You will hear stories about the Loggerhead Sea Turtles nesting in the sand dunes- THEY'RE TRUE. Help us protect them til they're ready to return to the Ocean.

We loved our stay at the Pink House! It was perfect for two families vacationing together. The house accommodated all 8 comfortably. Everything was clean and overall very nice. The kitchen was newly painted and well equipted. The layout of the house was perfect and the 5 bedrooms 5 baths were great. It was so relaxing to have such nice views of the ocean from the great room. The house is well maintained and is very nicely decorated to reflect the area. The photos and description of the house and property are accurate. Harbor Island is a fun place to explore. The beach and nearby state park (Hunting Island) provided us with lots of recreaction. We enjoyed hiking, walking the beach, climbing up the light house, and kayaking. The owners were awesome to work with. They promptly responded to emails and phone calls and were accommodating in every way. Beaufort is a great town to explore. Nice shops and galleries to browse in rather than the touristy trinket shops. Our kids enjoyed the horse and carriage ride which gave a historical tour of the town. We would love to return to the area and would definitely recommend staying at The Pink House!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

My family rented this beautiful house for my son's graduation from the Marine Corp. It is ideally located with gorgeous views of the beach and neighborhood. Every corner of this home has been decorated with the guest's comfort in mind. The house lacks for nothing, and the layout is perfect. The home has all the amenities needed and more. The rooms are lovely and the balconies provide beautiful views. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. It provided such a comfortable environment for my Son's leave from Boot Camp. The owner is very responsive to any questions you may have. I would highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

We just rented this house for our son's boot-camp graduation. John was great to deal with when setting up the reservation and again when he called back and confirmed prior to our arrival. The house is huge and set up very nice for large groups(we had 7 adults and 3 kids) Although it was cold we enjoyed the screened porch and the balconies very much. The kitchen was fully stocked with every possible thing you would ever need. The upstairs Master Suite was a nice private area to relax and unwind. Thebeach is a very short walk across the street from the house. The whole area is very beautiful and I look forward to going back to explore.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Everything about this house was PERFECT! My family and I spent a week here and exceedingly enjoyed the bedroom divided floor plan where privacy is well maintained. Gorgeous views were enjoyed from all porches. The short walk across the street to the beach was a real bonus for my aging parent and easy supervision of my son and triplet nieces. We hope to rent this home again and again and hope it stays on the rental roster. If the owners are ever in the market to sell, please contact us first!!!! I LOVE MY PINK DREAM HOUSE!!!!!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We found the answer to our dreams when we visited Harbor Island and fell in love with our 'Pink House', which we purchased June 2012.This beach house made us feel at home instantly. The Ocean is SO CLOSE. The house has spacious rooms. The many decks showcase the beauty of the Ocean & the distant River & Marshes. You can swim, or just relax at our Beautiful Private Beach or the Swim & Racquet Club/Pool. Our Island Community includes 24 Hour Gated Security in & out.
