Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: I moved to the Eugene area in '72 for college. Discovered the McKenzie River in '77 and never left. Liz grew up in Eugene, graduated from OSU in '82 and came home to Eugene. She's a Beaver and I'm a Duck. We now live full time on the McKenzie River and had an opportunity to buy the cottage next door.
Why the Owner Chose Vida:
I fell in love with this property the first time I saw it in '84. It was built in '35 and is a classic McKenzie River cottage. Rustic and charming, with great views and privacy in a residential area.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
The front porch is a great place to unwind after a day of fly-fishing, rafting, hiking, mountain biking or golf at nearby Tokatee. Just a short walk from the Helfrich Boat Landing below Martin's Rapids.
