Nerja is mostly described as the " Pearl of the Costa del Sol" and attract in summer as well as in winter guests from all over the globe: not huge quantities but rather quality guests looking for a quiet, original Andalusian town close to the beach and close to everything.
In the historical center of that lovely Nerja, at 350 meters from the beach and less than 700 meters from the famous Balcon de Europe is a very exclusive Andalucian house with tree independent apartments: Casa Charlotte.
Hundreds of geraniums, begonias, hibiscus, bougainvillea have made from Casa Charlotte a real flower house.
All bedrooms have king size beds in plain wood, heating in the bed rooms, airco, quality tableware asf.
Guests wrote in the guestbook and in Rick Steves Graffiti as well: "Casa Charlotte is a home away from home".
Nerja and Casa Charlotte are making your holiday so easy. A car is not needed: bakery and groceries at 20 meters distance, chemist, church,and many other shops and super markets at less than 150 meters.
In the street Calle San Pedro and in the surrounding street just original Andalucian people are living. If one greets them...they greet you...do you speak a little bit Spanish it's so easy to have a chat with them. Certainly all locals are very child friendly.
The landlords, Frans and wife Nuttee, are very helpful and have all the time for advising you: you are considered as a part of the family.
As Nerja has a mild and not humid climate in winter spoil yourself and your partner and make it your next "overwintering" place or enjoy the Carnival or let you impress with the Semana Santa, the San Juan feasts (June) or the Feria (October).
Nerja has many faces and once you have discovered "this piece of Paradise" you will come again and again.
No Smoking, please and no pets.
