DONNER HAVEN at Donner Lake, Truckee
This is the one, your getaway haven! This beautifully remodeled home is fully furnished and equipped with all newly appliances provided for your vacation pleasures. This cozy mountain house duplex is across from Donner Lake, and two houses down from Donner Pines Market and the Old 40 Kitchen Restaurant. It has 3 bedrooms 3 baths plus den, 2000 Sq ft of well thought out living spaces with high cathedral ceilings and walls of windows in the Great Room.
Public Pier/Dock is just a short walk down along the lake. Public beaches 3 minutes drive to West end of lake and at Donner Memorial State Park, south side of Donner Lake.
Rental rate is $200/ night and $1200/week for Fall rental from Sept 1st to Dec 15th, 2 days minimum.

2 queen beds, 2 twins with trundles, and twin over full bunk bed.
Kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer. TV, DVD, ipod player,piano, high speed internet broadband available for your entertainment.
Easy access level lot and quick access to everything: Walk down to the local market, minutes from Hwy. 80 and Downtown Truckee, close to Sugar Bowl and nearby to Northstar, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows Ski Resorts.
House Cleaning for $150, higher amount for holiday (fee charged by cleaning service agency, not us.)
Linens and towels options:
1. House cleaning service charges $25 extra to
launder soil linens,towels and make the beds,
provided you remove all soiled linens from
beds, towels before you leave.
2. To save time--Some guests like to bring their
own linens and towels or
3. No charge- if you wash and dry house's linens
and towels after use at the end of your
stay.
Security deposit is $300. Security deposit is for the entire stay and will be refunded after departure.
Please no smoking in the house. If evidence of smoking is found in the home, there is an additional cleaning fee of $200.

We had a great ski trip and stay at this beautiful home at Donner Lake. We were two families and the house really worked out perfect for all of us. The home was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated with great furniture through out. Was easy to find and access with plenty of flat parking. We liked that it was a bit away from the busier feel of Tahoe-Donner area, but still close to the main shopping and downtown Truckee. If you like craft beer the small store walking distance away has the best craft beer selection in Truckee. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We booked this house for a last minute vacation. The owner was super nice to work with and very accommodating. The house itself is gorgeous, perfect for 2 families to share (2 rooms with queen beds for parents, 1 bunk room and a den off the master with 2 twins plus 2 trundles for the kids). It looks like its been recently modeled with all new appliances (the oven and grill look like they had never been used) and very well maintained. The kids had a fantastic time playing at the west end beach which was close enough that we could drive back to the house for lunch. Plenty of flat parking in the driveway out front.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

About the owner: It's always our dream to own a vacation home in the Tahoe Truckee area surrounded by beautiful forests and serene lakes in the close vicinity and to share it with you. We've lived in the Bay Area for more than 20 years and always enjoy traveling to Tahoe to ski 15 plus trips a year and vacationing through out the year doing a lot of outdoor activities such as biking, kayaking,hiking and soaking in hot springs.
Why the Owner Chose Donner Lake:
It is beautifully furnished and fully equipped with brand new kitchen, stainless steel appliance for your enjoyment and convenience. It is right across from serene Donner lake with clear water and beautiful weather in the summer, perfect for swimming on a hot day or fishing trips that perhaps you are always want to plan for.
Also perfect location for winter fun, only 10-15 minutes away from most of the large ski resorts, Squaw Valley, Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, and close to two great places for beginner skiers are Donner Ski Ranch and Soda Springs. Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City is about 30 minutes away.
Don't forget about hiking through the trails at Truckee, or biking along the Truckee river---peaceful ride through nature. We discovered Treetop Adventure Park at Granlibakken Conference Center & Lodge, a fun rope course-ziplines place for the whole family.
