Find relaxation, peace of mind, and tranquility here. For those of you who want more, town is just a few minutes away (less than two miles by boat). The house, named The Point of View House (POV), was built by my family in the late 1800s
The POV is a 27-room home that has been remodeled enough to be comfortable, yet I have maintained the antiquity and charm of the original home. Most rooms overlook other islands and open ocean. The POV offers a large porch, equipped with rocking chairs, that will provide a relaxing atmosphere and absolutely wonderful sunrises. The deck on the south side is a sun tanner's dream. The rock garden off the kitchen door has been planted to enhance your cooking with fresh herbs.
Dine-in style at a table that holds 17 comfortably, but can seat up to 22. The house comes with everyday dishware, but if you wish to have a formal dining affair, there is a complete set of antique dishes. Catering companies are available in the area.
Along with being fully furnished, the POV has a mooring for your boating needs and access to a small, sand beach for launching dingys, skiffs, kayaks, and canoes. The large, front yard has been known to hold exciting volleyball games, badminton, and croquet.

Booking Fee of $1000 to be applied to rent at time of arrival; non refundable.

Cash, Traveler's Checks, or Money Orders will be accepted at first arrival.
Payment by Personal or Business Checks must be received five business days
before arrival.
