Bonnie's place is great, small but well appointed, and an easy walk in ten to fifteen minutes from all the touristy goodness that is LoHi and 16th st is just a little further. Love that coffeemaker! Go and enjoy this place, the yard is a nice plus and had enough privacy to be soothing.

This place is fantastic!
This place is fantastic!
This is a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the Denver Metro Area. Its just a 20 minutes walk to 16th street mall but without being to close to the city noises. The neighborhood is well lit at night and I though it was really safe. The place its self, outstandingly clean. My Fiance and I were SHOCKED to find it so clean. Extremely thoughtful design and made the best of the room available. Excellent price and beats a hotel any day. Better than any hotel that was 250 a night I've stayed in my life.

Owner response: Thanks, Joseph! We try to keep it immaculate- as we would like the rentals we stay in to be the same. Thanks for noticing...and posting!
My husband and I needed a place to stay during his doctor appointment time in Denver. Bonnie and her husband go above any beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Fresh flowers and even a large bar of chocolate were the finishing touches on a beautifully decorated cottage with off-street parking and a completely fenced yard for our two small doggies. It is in a nice, safe, quiet and friendly neighborhood. Nice queen bed, sofa, state of the art kitchen, wifi, washer/dryer and cozy bathroom make this rental a wonderful place to stay. This unit is completely furnished with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We didn't lack for anything, they have thought of everything. Unit has easy access to highway and is close to downtown. Arrived on tail of huge snow storm, but parking area and walkways were shoveled clean. Easy access to load and unload car. Can't wait until our next visit, hopefully, without all the snow.

I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone thinking about visiting Denver. The neighborhood is quaint and the cottage is so modern [really loved the kitchen]. There is a small ally way along the side of the cottage that leads to Tejon St. where you can easily ride a bike down to downtown crossing over the interstate on a really neat suspended pedestrian/bike path. In fact, the owners provided us with two bikes to use for our stay. The yard is very private with high fences and there is a single private parking space in front of the cottage. There are great restaurants and coffee shops all over within biking distance. Just ask the owners where the best places to go are and they will be glad to give you some insight!

I rented this cottage for a few weeks in the fall of 2012 while contemplating moving to Denver. The neighborhood was quiet but easily accessible to downtown Denver. The cottage was immaculate and newly redone with great appliances and amenities. I had my dog with me and was pleased to find the yard completely enclosed, private and safe for him to run around in. The owners were fabulous-- extremely helpful without being too involved. I would DEFINITELY rent here again!

About the owner: We are a married couple with a 1 year old baby and 1 on the way. We both grew up back east(NJ and NY) and finally settled here in Colorado. We live in Denver and thought VRBO management might work for our family lifestyle. We are new to the biz!
Why the Owner Chose Denver:
This cottage is in a fabulous neighborhood, the location of our first home as a married couple. You can walk to many excellent restaurants: Z Cuisine, Root Down, Linger, and the list goes on and on. You can also walk/bike to Riverfront Park and enjoy the beauty of the Platte, or downtown to enjoy the nightlife. Complimentary bikes and locks in the backyard shed! Denver is a great city to explore by bicycle. If you want to ski or enjoy the high peaks, the property is a short distance to I-70, which will take you west. You can be skiing at Vail in under 2 hours and even shorter for the closer mountains. Come and be our guests and enjoy all that Denver has to offer.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
This property is set back, has it's own parking spot and feels quite private. It also has a quaint backyard lined with plum trees and a nice patio to enjoy outdoor dining or relaxing. It is entirely renovated- brand new kitchen, bath, koa hardwood floors, and light open floorplan. There's a great new restaurant 1 block away if you want to stay close and many more within blocks of the house. It would be a fabulous rental for a business person or vacationer, and is fully equipped for both.
