  Jo and her property manager were very easy to work with. The condo is very comfortable and represented well on the site. The grounds are well maintained and the pool area is great, it was nice to overlook the ocean. We did not get the opportunity to use the kayak, but saw many other renters taking theirs out. The groundskeeper was very friendly and was able to give good recommendations for some places to eat.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  My husband and I brought our two children here for our second trip to Islamorada. The property is just absolutely beautiful, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The pictures are lovely but they really don't do it justice. The grounds were gorgeous and everything was so close by. The pool, ocean and dock were steps away and there were restaurants that were in close enough proximitey to walk as well. There was nothing more that we could have asked for. All four of us loved it. The kitchen had everything you would ever need on vacation, the laundry was a nice bonus, we packed light and didn't have to worry about running out of clothes. All of the furnishings were clean, comfortable and stylish. We were there in February but it was quiet, not crowded at the pool ever. Islamorada is a great location, there is so much to do and Angler's Reef is a great starting point!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

  We stayed at angler's Reef Dec 22-29. The house is fairly new construction and had everything we needed. The house has a 2 person kayak. That was fun, but we also rented paddle boards for a whole day, and that was even more fun. Angler's Reef is a probably one of the most beautiful gated communities in Islamorada. It has two small beach areas for guest and a pool. The pool was heated and felt great, even in December. The water at angler's Reef is not deep. You could probably walk a 1/4 mile into the ocean without getting chest deep. This makes the area really safe for kids. There is also a boat slip if you want to bring a boat. Overall, this is a perfect location on the Keys. There are many restaurants near by and grocery stores about 10 minutes away. You are only about 45 min from Florida City and the last Wal-Mart. Stop there and stock up. Once in Islamorada, Key Largo, Plantation, Key West, and several State Parks are all within a short drive. The house is about 82 miles from Key West, so you can go there for a day. We went to Bahia Honda State Park two days for the beach and for snorkeling. The snorkeling was fantastic, except we happen to go out on a day when the waves were 4-5 ft. There was a lot of sick people on the boat. On top of the perfect location, I can't emphasize enough how nice Jo and Steve were to us. The rental process was simple. Great communication. We got our security deposit back almost instantly from Jo. Jo is very tech savy, so she can take eletronic payments and perform transfers very quickly. I stated earlier that this is a gated community. Getting in was simple. We had a gate code, so no guards to deal with. Second, the house has an electronic door lock with a code...so no key to lose. That made life so simple. I could go on. I have told Jo and Steve that I would be happy to answer anyone's questions. So if you need a reference, they can give you my email.

  The description of this home does not do it justice. The home and the property are beautifully maintained. The beach chairs on the water called to us from the moment we arrived and sunbathing poolside was great. Everything you could need was provided, the decor was well-appointed and inviting. It made for a great girls' weekend away but we could tell that this was also a terrific place for a family. A crib was readily available for anyone that has a young child. The owner's are exceptional hosts and very helpful. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you for making our visit a positive, fun, enjoyable experience. We recommend dining at the Sundowner Restaurant in Key Largo on the patio at sunset.

  Wonderful experience. All details were handled very professionally by owner PRIOR to arrival. Residence and property were exactly as the owner advertised...No surprises.Very clean and well maintained. The location is central to almost every possible activity and the opportunities for good restaurants is plentiful. We plan to return.

  This was our first trip to "The Keys" and we all agreed Islamorada was our favorite. The house, which is located in angler's Reef, was a real treat, too. It is very spacious, nicely decorated, and very modern. It is located in a very high-end gated community. The boat dock/slip is an extra bonus for those who can "trailer" a boat. Jo Wiles, the owner, left a very detailed list of good restaurants and special places to visit in the area. Ma's Fish House was one of our favorite restaurants and the Bahia Honda State Park was my favorite place to soak up some sun. The snorkeling and diving are awesome. We would highly recommend the Conch Republic Dive Shop for those who like to dive shipwrecks, etc. Bottom line: this is a great place to stay and make memories!

  We went to Islamorada for a three night girls' trip. Anglers Reef was perfect for us. The property was immaculate, and the owner was very helpful. There were many cute touches around the house including the "Handy House Book" and the "Handy House Box" filled with little bits of information to help make our stay even more enjoyable. We also did get a special kick out of the fact that this home (owned by a Brit named Jo) had a cupboard under the stairs. We only hoped Harry Potter would have been there to join us! Seriously though, you really can't go wrong with this rental. Everything felt brand new, from the super soft linens, to the furniture and the keypad entrance. (How nice to not even need to carry a key around!) We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again on a future trip to the Keys.

  What a wonderful stay and home away from home. Such the comforts, clean and everything we need, plus luxury that was endless! The gardens and landscaping ,sunsets, poolside and such a beautifully decorated home - just felt so cozy. Your recommendation for snorkelling was top notch! Capt. Xavier from Bay and Reef Co. was so intoned with nature and shared his love of the keys and showed us an underwater world we never knew existed - more beautiful than Grand Cayman Island. Be back in a heart beat - thank you for sharing your incredible home.

  I was so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at how much more beautiful the grounds and condo were, everything being so clean and well maintained! The photos of the condo were a true reflection but even better in person and the picture of pool, is truely that beautiful! I was a little nervous when I saw the areal photo of angler's reef, that it might have a compound feel, but far from opposite! Just a quaint, beautiful and very little neighborhood, with poolside feeling like a spa getaway! So clean!!!!!There is truely nothing in the area like this and Islamorada was such a wonderful destination! It's coined the sport fishing capital of the world, with marina right out front but it sets low and there was nothing smelly about it, such an immaculate, new and clean place. We walked the dock at night and with lights, we saw numerous fish and an octupus. Pretty cool. We chose not to fish and just had a delightful time! October was a wonderful time to stay as we felt we had the place to ourselves. The owner was truely a pleasure to work with and she went out of her way to make our stay the best!!!!! If we are so lucky enough to come back, I will go out of my way to make sure we stay here at Jo and Steve's Condo! She has your best interest at hand and gives you all the info you should ever need. Luxurious towels and bedding, and all the ammenities you can think of. If you have a chance to snorkel or dive, go with Bay and Reef Co. - Capt. Xavier and Capt. Elizabeth make a perfect team and will have you appreciating the miracles of the waters (A great recommendation from Jo!). Their main focus is the snorkeler and diver, and their objection is to provide a wonderful trip. They are so trustworthy and flexible, and did everyting in their power to assure us quality waters. They know exactly where to take you and understand the importance of "our natural surroundings". Dining, I highly recommend the Spanish Gardens (only 7 or 8 tables) not too far and was the most incredible mediterranean cooking ever, the olive oil with bread will have you addicted! If they only bottled it! The meal - out of this world!!! (A wonderful recommendation from Capt. X) Have a blast! We will return...in a heart beat!!!!

  We stayed here in September, my husband is a keen fisherman and as we hired a boat, the dock was very useful! There is a sandbar which is great for bathing in at low tide very near the dock, so we took the fishing kayak there a couple of times too! My husband actually caught a bonnet head shark from the kayak! The house itself is wonderful - we found it to be very clean, with a well stocked kitchen. It is tastefully decorated and even has a couple of beach chairs should you need them, although there are actually beach chairs on the beach - I think the idea would be to use these chairs if you went to the local public beaches, but we didn't do that. The shower in the master bedroom is a little confusing - it turns out the hot and cold are the wrong way round! Was fine once we worked that out! We didn't use the BBQ as we enjoy eating out so much, but we would have done had we stay longer. Jo was very pleasant to deal with and gave us lots of information before we arrived and then at the house she had a folder with lots more information on restaurants and things to do. There were also some dvd's and games like backgammon and chess which was nice - again, we didn't use them as we were out so much of the time, but great idea for rainy days! The bedrooms are my favourite rooms in the house - they are just beautiful - the bed we slept in was extremely comfortable. We had a fantastic time down in Islamorada and can't wait to go back. Thank you, Jo for being so welcoming, you have a beautiful house!
