Our recent stay in the Alameda House was all that we hoped it would be. It is located just off Alameda Boulevard on Rio Grande Boulevard in a very quiet neighborhood, very convenient to shopping and Interstate 25 access. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable and there is a quiet patio for relaxing in the evenings. Melissa made sure that all was in order for a wonderful stay. We will definitely recommend the Alameda House to friends and family wanting to spend time in Albuquerque.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The Alameda House is a travelers dream. Spacious, clean, private, and includes everything one could possibly need. The king size bed is the most comfortable I've slept in. The owner provides operating instructions for all appliances and I felt completely at home. This is the only place we plan to stay in Albuquerque!!Did you find this review helpful? Excellently located beautiful home, part of a gorgeous estate. The home was very clean, immaculate bathrooms, and stocked with every ammenity that anyone would want or need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were so pleased to have a comfortable home to return to each night after touring the area all day. Beds were memory foam mattresses which were very comfortable but my friends and I felt they were too warm. Would recommend the home highly, and hope to return there again in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My family recently stayed at this gorgeous home in Albuquerque for three nights. We met up with my sister who drove up from Texas while the rest of us drove down from Colorado. It was a perfect place to meet up for a long weekend. We had a fantastic stay and cannot say enough about this wonderful home. The many personal touches the owners of the property prepared for us were really impressive. From the graciously provided welcome basket to the well-appointed bedrooms, living room, and kitchen there was something delightful around every corner. The home exceeded all of our expectations and provided a 5 star living experience! Before we left, my 5 year old niece said she wished we could stay for another 100 nights. We will definitely be back! It was very easy to book the property and communicate with the owners. The home was immaculately clean and provided easy access to the aerial tram as well as the downtown area. The nearby open space was a nice unexpected bonus for an afternoon walk or bike ride along the Rio Grande. We would definitely recommend staying here to almost anyone. We are already talking about planning another visit!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed with Tyler and Melissa this past February and March and cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had there. Not only is it the perfect location (Los Ranchos is in our opinion the best location in Albuquerque) additionally the property is beautifully appointed and decorated in the loveliest of southwestern fashion. Tyler and Melissa have anticipated and considered every possible need, whether it is for cooking, dinning, privacy or entertainment. The home was immaculate and maintained at the highest level. My husband and I enjoyed entertaining friends and family for dinner, or simply sitting outside on the patio reading, relaxing and taking in the beautiful view. The walking trails along the Rio Grande are just steps away and shopping, dining out, movies and touring is just around the corner. Los Ranchos is a peaceful section of the North Valley of Albuquerque, with just spectacular horse farms, walking and biking trails, but very close to the busy "West Side". This is our fifth year coming to Albuquerque and we appreciated the true beauty of this wonderful city staying in such a lovely home in truly the best location possible.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alameda house. It was clean, extremely comfortable and private. The features were top-of-the-line: from the well-appointed kitchen (complete with Kitchen Aid Mixer!), to the luxurious shower, to the plush towels and linens, to the memory-foam king size bed. It felt like our home away from home, and we will definitely be back!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

My wife and I, from Indiana, stayed one week, to spend Thanksgiving with our son and daughter in-law. Since we were traveling before we arrived in New Mexico, Melisa worked well with us to get everything set up early. Well appointed and comfortable. My wife enjoyed the laundry. We enjoyed the comfy beds, bottled water, showers, towels and HD TVs through out, with a soundbar in the living room. Since we spent much of our time with the kids, we only got around to visiting the Unser Racing Museum (being an IndyCar fanatic, this was a must) and Old Town (tourist traps with nice architecture and decent prices). We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay at The Alameda House again. We have stayed at 7 VRBO / HomeAways. The Alameda House is definitely one of the top two rentals.Did you find this review helpful?
