Sleeps 12 - Only a quarter of a mile from Homewood Ski Resort, this historic, lakefront home has access to a private beach and a huge, landscaped yard. Originally built in 1911, this home was fully remodeled in 2003, restoring it to its original glory. Inside the main house you will find three bedrooms and three bathrooms along with an outstanding kitchen, a large, gas fireplace, and a 37-inch LCD TV in addition to broadband internet access and a view of the lake from every room. If you need more space, just head over to the guest house. Here you’ll find an additional king-sized bed downstairs and 2 double beds in the loft. What’s more, in fall of 2009, the owner added a fabulous kitchenette to the guest house which includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and sink. From this home you can actually walk to Homewood in five minutes! So there will be no need to compete for parking when you want to hit the slopes. Tahoe City itself offers a variety of recreational activities from skiing and snowboarding to biking and more! Take a whitewater tour or go horseback riding. Visit the lake or simply enjoy the beautiful scenery as you walk one of the area’s many trails or cruise along a scenic drive.
