This beautiful two-bedroom, two and one half-bath villa has a prime location - in Shipyard Plantation, one of the prettiest parts of the island, nestled between Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines. Shipyard has two gated entrances which affords quick access to everything on the island. The setting is ideal for a family vacation, as there is something for everyone. This villa is within a five-minute walk to the new Shipyard Beach Club and to the Atlantic Ocean.
The unit is across the street from the Crowne Plaza Resort and the Van Der Meer Tennis Center, which offers daily clinics and court rentals for our guests. Golfers will enjoy the view of the 6th green on one of 27 holes of Shipyard Golf Club. Bikers and joggers will enjoy the miles of scenic bike and jogging paths throughout the plantation, as well as HHI. Two adult bicycles and one 20 inch youth bike is at the villa for your use with no charge. The Greens swimming pool is located across from the villa.
Our redecorated villa is two-story, non-smoking, and comes with many amenities to make your stay pleasurable. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king-size bed, walk-in closet, cable TV/DVD, and golf course view. The guest bedroom is also upstairs and has one twin bed,and one queen bed, two large closets, and cable TV. Both bedrooms have new linens and spreads, their own private bathrooms. A full-sized washer and dryer are handily situated between the bedrooms. The unit is kept very clean by a very attentive manager. Plus, there is high-speed, wireless Internet access throughout the villa.
The downstairs living area has a fully-equipped kitchen, including a refrigerator with ice maker, microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, and blender. Dishes, pot, pans, silverware, and all kitchen linens are included. There is also a day bed with flat screen 26 inch TV located in the front lower level room off the kitchen. The dining room has a brand new dining tablewith six Pottery Barn Sea Grass chairs. In the great room, there is also all new decorator furniture. There is all new carpet and matresses as of July,09.
A TV with DVD/VCR and CD/Stereo is also in the great room for your pleasure. The double sliding doors give you access to a private deck with patio furniture and charcoal grill where you can relax and watch golfers navigate the well bunkered 6th green and putt to finish the hole. A half bath is also conveniently located on the first floor.

Very nice rental villa. Steps away from golf course, seen them playing. An easy bike ride to the beach, (bikes at villa), and to the Plaza for shopping. The beach access was great and a nice beach. Although we had bad weather, our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing thanks to this unit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa as it is very nicely decorated and furnished. The location is excellent as it is a short walk, or bike ride to the beach. We stayed the entire month of February 2010 and enjoyed every day we were there! We hope to reserve another month in the future!

We stayed for 5 days with parents and dog......what a treat. The home is fantastic and very nice ....relaxing was easy. A few miutes to walk to the beach made it 'THE-PLACE' to return to. Owner and local support were....hold on....ARE...as friendly as can be. We will be back soon

Our family had a great time at this villa. The pictures provide an accurate description of what you'll find - the villa is clean, nicely decorated, cheery colors throughout. We used the kitchen for breakfast and lunch everyday, and had everything we needed. The weather was cool while we were there, but we still enjoyed walks/bike rides to beach and around Shipyard. Washer/dryer upstairs between the bedrooms was very handy for keeping up with boys and their laundry. We would stay here again and would recommend to friends & family.

We stayed here last year and it was wonderful. The villa is beautiful, very clean and welcoming. It is a short walk to the beach and the pool. We also loved sitting on the deck in the evening. We loved staying here so much that we booked this villa well in advance for our '09 vacation!
