House, 3 Bedrooms + 2 Baths (Sleeps 6) 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Double bed.

Come enjoy the beautiful city of St. Augustine, FL. We're located in a quiet neighborhood of Historical St Augustine. The house is new to the vacation rental market. It's a newly renovated semi-detached house, with lots of charm. It is very comfortable, open and airy. This spacious house sleeps up to six people in private bedrooms with real beds. The eat in kitchen is fully equipped for those who love to cook. The furniture is an eclectic mix of antique and casual, comfortable, elegant but not too fussy. It's a place where you can put your feet up and relax after a long day of sightseeing, or surfing.
There is lots of outdoor space to enjoy the extraordinary Florida weather. It has a fully fenced in property, which includes shady back yard with a grill, and large table, and a lovely private courtyard as well. It's a great place for small children, or pets.
A driveway has room for 2 cars, which this is very important in the historic district were parking is limited. It's a quick drive to the best beaches in Florida (just 5 miles away), grocery shopping, world class golf, and other Florida attractions. But you can just as easily park the car, and not use it for the whole visit if you prefer. All the fun St. Augustine attractions, the Castillo de San Marco, Ripleys, St. George Street, the antique district, Lightner Museum, and dozens of restaurants, are all just blocks away.

This rental was absolutely perfect! The home was spacious and extremely well equipped. The outdoor living space was unique and enjoyable. The owner was extremely friendly and available throughout the entire process. The location was ideal. Historic St. Augustine was just a short walk away. It was close enough to make it easy to walk in and out of shopping area several times a day. However, you are not right on top of all the noise and tourists. I highly recommend this property.

Recommended for: Pet owners, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway.

From the first moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place to stay. If you are looking for a home close to, and within walking distance of, the old town, this is for you. The house was easy to find, and the photos on the listing were exactly what you find when you enter the gate. We got in after 8PM, and our hosts had the lights on, wine and cookies in the fridge., and even doggy bowls for our Dane. Amy and Jason came right over to greet us, and show us where everything was. By the time we left, we felt like they were old friends. The fact that they live next door was very handy for questions, etc., still they never intruded. Also, there is a building between the 2 houses, so you have plenty of privacy. I loved the outdoor sitting areas for relaxing, and the fenced yard was GREAT for our Dane!. The house had hardwood floors throughout, as well as lovely wood-working around doors and windows. The furnishings are antiques and modern, but all work together to make this a home where you will feel comfortable and "at home" right away.. The kitchen was well equipped, and had all the modern appliances. The bathrooms were very nice, one had a walk-in shower (off the master bedroom), and the other a very artistic "fishy" bathroom with tub. The living room area was open and had lots of comfortable seating. This area had a cd player, with many cd's to choose from. The bedrooms were "homey", with antique furnishings, and were set up in an open/airy fashion. The library had hundreds of books on just about any subject, including kids books. There were also kids games, although we did not have any small children with us, so I didn't really look at those closely. There was only one TV, which was in the library, (hooked up to DirecTV). One TV was not a problem for us, but might be if you have a number of people who want to watch different things. There was also a dvd player, and a shelf with a variety of dvd's as well. And last, but not least, there was a small stacked washer/dryer, which came in quite handy. All in all, I feel this home was spacious and clean, in a nice area, priced great, very pet friendly, (kid friendly too), had everything you might need, and more. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer than 8 days. I would not hesitate to book another stay, and in fact plan to do so! Our granddaughter attends Flagler College, and this is her Freshman year, so... Thanks so much Amy and Jason, you will be seeing us quite often!

Had a wonderful "girl's getaway" weekend over Labor Day weekend at this lovely and charming home. It was even more spacious than the photos suggest! The location was SO convenient to everything - just a short walk to the heart of the historic district. We liked that it was close to everything but far enough removed from the high traffic areas that you didn't have all the noise. Full kitchen with everything you need if you want to prepare meals. Amy had thoughtfully stocked some items for our use - coffee, cream and a few treats in the fridge. Beds were comfortable and clean. The master bathroom had a very spacious shower! There is a nice library of books and music for your enjoyment, plus cable tv and dvd player, if you want to just stay in and relax. We were too busy to make much use of it though! We parked the cars when we arrived and didn't use them again until we left. If walking is difficult then you can buy tickets and catch the trolley or train just a few blocks away which will take you to every interesting stop in old town. A couple of things I should mention...the private parking area is small. Two average size cars will fit snugly, but any large vehicles would have to park on the street. When we arrived, the flowers were spilling over onto the driveway and my sister could not get out of the car, but Jason promptly came over and pruned them back out of the way. Also, the shower water temperature is a little tricky. We had a hard time finding a happy medium - it was either too hot or too cold, but with the heat index at the time being in the 100's, the cold felt pretty good! Overall we were very pleased with this home and would recommend this property as an excellent choice if you are visiting the beautiful town of St. Augustine. We will be back! Thanks Amy and Jason!

We bought the house with the attached former church building 16 years ago, and have been converting the place since then. Recently the family have been growing up, and leaving home,so and we don't need so much space. So we have decide to get the house ready for occasional visiting family, and vacation rental.
